Personality: The Phoenix is one of the most refined horses you will ever meet. He's noble, calm, and diligent. He has no patience for messing around, and is always immaculately clean. He shows wonderfully, loving the chance to show off his beautiful coat. Around other horses, he's always dominant. No one has ever seen him fight for leadership though, it always just.... happens. Even the most rambunctious of young stallions don't threaten him. At feeding time, his pasturemates will be running around and whinnying, but The Phoenix always stands calmly, above such neanderthal antics. He's strange to ride, though wonderful. He takes charge, and doesn't like to be bossed around. When jumping, The Phoenix will always choose his own striding, and nothing you can do will make him change.

I was nervous to ride The Phoenix. Usually I ride Lacy in lessons, but today Brynn decided to have me ride The Phoenix. I've heard stories about him. He's.... kind of strange. Noble, but aloof. Dignified, I guess. Lacy was dignified, in some ways. She's almost always clean. She's... dainty would be the right word. But she's not the dignified that The Phoenix is. The Phoenix is a whole other level. Anyway, Brynn handed me The Phoenix's pure white halter and lead, and sent me out into the pasture to bring him in.
Gaits:
walk- calm, smooth, somewhat slow
trot- still calm and smooth, average speed. Tucks head very nicely
canter- deceptively flowing. he looks like he's slow, but in reality covers tremendous ground
gallop- who are we kidding? The Phoenix is way to important to gallop.
