(Features Caesar, her gang, and Zevach)
The silent, accusing glare usually meant death for anyone on the receiving end of it. However, in this case, it only served as a challenge for the necromancer as he returned it with just as much fearless audacity. To top off his tenacious scowl, he threw in a smug little smirk.
That really annoyed Caesar.
The female gave an irritated little noise that rumbled quickly in the back of her throat. It wasn't a growl; more like the frustrated mewl of a child who couldn't get its toy. Nevertheless, Caesar stalked forward a bit more persistently this time, and spoke clearly, calmly - though it was obvious he was testing her patience.
"I'll give you one last chance, Zevach," she enunciated, glaring hatefully at the necromancer before her. "You can leave on your feet or in a gurney. Take your pick."
"Oh?" Zevach mused, a hint of a smile ghosting his face. "And why would I wish to comply to your demands? Oh, I know. It's out of the 'kindness in my heart', correct?" At this, he gave a dry laugh, his smile disappearing and replacing itself with a menacing glare. "Well let me tell you, there is no kindness left in my heart, my dear. I've lost that kindness; it's dead. Gone." The smile returned eerily. "Just like you'll be, in about ten seconds... Unless you let me go, that is."
The purple and black Sima across the room - Vincent - growled irritably, crossing the floor quickly to get at Zevach's throat. "You ain't gonna touch the boss, you hear?" he snarled viciously, to which Zevach replied with a silent raise of his hand. "What-"
"Silence, you fool," Zevach barked back. "You'll wake the dead with your screaming - and that's my job, thank you very much."
Vincent looked about ready to kill Zevach, but before he could lunge for the older male, a black and pink curly-furred Sima grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and yanked him back. "OW! Hey, what the heck, Serenity?!"
"There's no need to cause trouble, Vinny," Serenity replied quietly, tail lashing nervously towards the charcoal-colored male sitting a little ways away from them. "He... he is a necromancer, you know... What's to stop him from-"
"Killing you?"
Vincent and Serenity's heads whirled back towards Zevach, who was seated (quite calmly) in the foldable chair, his legs crossed and his hands in his lap. He leaned back, smiling creepily. "Why, technically, there's nothing stopping me from killing you all," he drawled on, seeing as they weren't going to talk anytime soon. "I could easily summon a few ghouls to come and rip you apart... But I won't."
"And why not?" Castiel, the smooth-skinned Sima, chirped curiously. "You have all the means - and reasons - to. Why not just end us already?"
Fritz - Vincent's twin - shot a quick glare towards Castiel. "You idiot, do you WANT to die?!"
Zevach chuckled at the blue and black Sima's obvious panick, and smirked towards him. "Relax, you little moron," he snapped harshly. "I'm not killing you because it would do me no good as far as my studies go."
Caesar, who had managed to remain quiet for this long, quirked her brow. "Studies?"
Zevach simply smiled at her. "Yes. Studies. You see, you lot... You lot fascinate me. I rather enjoy your little antics - you could be of great use to me in the future."
"Wait, wait, wait," Castiel said quickly. "Back it up. The only reason you're keeping us alive is because we're your entertainment?"
"Precisely!" And with that, the darkly-colored necromancer burst into laughter, causing the Simas surrounding him to jump in shock (and fear - only slightly on Caesar's part).
Vincent growled once more. "I've had enough of this guy," he snapped. "I say we just kill him and get him out of the way. What good is he to us alive?"
Caesar stared him down rather easily, stalking towards the younger and muttering quietly through clenched teeth, "His power is great; he could be of use to us, you imbecile. What good is it to us if he's dead?"
A loud yawn sounded from behind her, and Caesar's head whipped back to glare at the necromancer. "I apologize greatly, my dear," Zevach smirked, "but it appears it's past my curfew. I simply must be going..."
Caesar stepped forward. "Zevach, you're not going anywhere," she ordered sternly. "You are to stay here, and - HEY!"
The lights flickered before the bulb blew out. A few small screams were heard as Caesar and the rest of her gang scrambled to find and turn on the backup generator as soon as possible. But, it seemed, as soon as the generator was found and switched on, their efforts proved futile.
Zevach had vanished - without a trace, as always.
