As cold and dark as the caves that they live in, there are rumours that they are unable to feel emotions or
even pain. Nothing seems to phase them, whether it be a fight or the death of someone close. Not that anyone
can really get close to them.
Though they have been brought to live on a ranch, they still prefer to live in dark caves. They can often be found
lurking in the darkness at the back of the barn, and are rather defensive of this little hideaway.

Born with poor eyesight, and living in a maze of dark caves and caverns, Hertz's eyesight was the least of their
concern. In fact, as they grew, their hearing and smell developed much faster. They were able to navigate through
the darkness, and live comfortably without ever seeing light. But they felt that their eyes got in the way, that they
were a distraction.
They needed to get rid of them.
They have always been close to the bats that share the caves with them, and they figured they could help them with
their predicament. Their sharp claws could be vicious in battle, and Hertz had witnessed the damage they
could do.
They approached them without hesitation, and didn't even flinch as their claws did their work. When the bats
were finished, Hetrz's eyes were useless, damaged beyond repair.
And that was just how they liked it.
