Explanation: Dahndei scouted the lands of his home with his best friend, Totah (Toe-tah). Together the two scouts proved that their homeland was safe under their watchful eyes. One day while the two friends were scouting the borders between their pack and a neighboring pack, they were ambushed by rogue wolves. These creatures were vicious and unlike them, but in the end Dahndei was faced with the unforgivable. It was his life or Totah's, and he had decided it was his life that was more important. When the wolves forced them to fight against each other for their lives, Dahndei fought fiercely against his best friend. In the end Totah died by his paws, and as a reward for his cruel and unforgivable deed, the wolves let him go with his life. Once reunited with his pack and family, he told them that Totah's life was taken by the rogues themselves. It seems though that the secret is slowly eating away at his soul. After a while Dahndei grew bitter and colder towards others. He still laid his life down for the pack, but when it came to being social with others, he was no where to be seen or always outcasted due to his temper and cold attitude.

Explanation: One night, Amelia had decided to go hunting for the pack by herself since they were low on food. Prey was very scarce for everyone that year and they had all grown a bit desperate. Amelia had spotted a raccoon though and chased it clear to the border of the Dawn clan. Amelia was frustrated that their good meal was a bit out of her grasp but soon found out why the raccoon had led her to where it did. She heard snarling and yelping noises over on their territory. She had an eerie feeling about it since the Dawn clan only hunted during the day and wondered what was going on over there so late at night. Suddenly a large group of wildcats were visible as well as a small number of Xholi fighting them. Amelia was tense as she watched them fight and knew that they were wary. She pushed away all doubts she had and ran to the small Dawn pack and helped them fight off the wildcats nevertheless.

The sun was starting to rise as they chased the wildcats far away from their territory. The Dawn clan didn't seem to be happy at all that a Dusk clan member had helped them, but they all knew what she had risked and they appreciated it. They all swore that they would never tell anyone and Amelia had befriended them afterwords. Though she never has gotten to see them again, she still thinks of them often and what could of happened if she hadn't decided to help them out.
