Shizukana use to be loud and open until someone close to her ruined that. Realizing what had happened she turned to the forest and her own solitude. Although she is alone, she is protected. Shizukana has taught herself how to hunt along with track and find the closest water resource.

Shizukana likes to mainly hang out in old tree houses. The height and sights she gets to see are fantastic, along with the sight of whats to come. Although she doesn't find these tree houses often, she cherishes everyone as they're own and they never feel like the last. If she ever does find someone to speak to, she would definitely tell them about all the wonderful sights she's seen. She's began taking shelter in some of these tree houses.

She is quiet, and when she does speak, it's very soft spoken. Shizukana is supremely creative and innovative. When she gets to talk to others she is quiet bubbly. She has good sense of direction and is very adventurous.

HISTORY

At just seventeen, Leona ran away from home. She took a bus
and walked for a few days. Eventually, she plain ran out of
money, so she gave up and decided to go to her relatives'. Asking
around for rides, an eager and wealthy looking boy offered
and even bought her lunch. She was grateful, even though she
was a bit skeptical. Leona decided not to say much, though, because
she hadn't eaten in a while and badly needed a ride. She felt like
her gut was telling her something.
A few sips into her drink in his fancy car, and she was feeling very
woozy and confused. Before she knew it, she had blacked out and
woken up in his house.
She'd been kidnapped. Parker, the boy, had claimed that he had
saved her when something had been slipped into her drink by
someone else. Extremely thankful, Leona couldn't thank him
enough. The teenager decided she didn't need to go... He was
awfully nice, and promised to take care of her.
As time went on, they started... dating. She was excited about
this, but slowly, Parker got abusive. Leona was very unaware of
thisbecause it was more slow, like putting a frog in a pot and
boiling the water my turning the heat up steadily. It even got
to the point where he started fetishizing her race. Parker was
domineering, and whenever she got out of line, he berated her
and did so physically.
She got used to it through the years, and became
his submissive little Asian girl. Leona even cleaned up after
him, like a housekeeper. You can bet Parker bragged about this
to his friends.
Leona and Parker went to the local park to admire the fireworks on
the Fourth of July. The show hadn't even started yet when the
couple started arguing. She barely even remembers what it had
been about, but she recalls that he shoved her onto a bench and
wouldn't let her stand until he'd proved his point. He got into her
face, and said things like 'just sit there'. She receded into herself
and looked at her lap the whole time, giving up.
That is, until someone intervened. His name was Damian, and when
Parker was gone to the bathroom, he gave her his number and told
her that she needed to escape, break her strings. Quickly, he
explained that he was an abuse survivor, and couldn't stand
watching her end up the same.
After some time had passed, Leona had broken up with Parker
and joined an abuse survivor support group.

PERSONALITY

Leona used to be the opposite of who she is now. She's
loud, unbridled, and can't be ignored anymore. Now
that she's free of her ex, she is excited all the time
and finds everything just hilarious. Constantly,
she's look for something to do. She can't sit still for
long at all. Damian has to constantly give her stim
toys so she'l leave him alone.
However, she's very much on the fence and tensed
up. Anyone that she feels is challenging her or is a
threat to her liberty will get an argument from her.
Everything can be seen as an insult, because of how
much she over-analyzes things people say. She isn't
afraid to whollop someone in the face if she so chooses.
This is all because she's still recovering from the abuse,
and is insecure of herself.
She likes to pretend that her self confidence is strong,
but while it looks all right on the outside, it's actually
being swallowed like broken glass. She acts like
reassurance and support from others is annoying, but
she actually appreciates it, despite how much she
thinks she shouldn't be getting it at all.
Leona is very patriotic, and would like to enroll
in the army someday. You'll often see her
donning army patterned gear and American
flag colours.

Gems placed in various places. These are growths that are directly on her bones. Each gem can synthesize liquid, and keep it up in the air to imitate wings. The pseudo wings are powerful enough to lift her off the ground. She likes to use these to see how high she can go. Always pushing the limits, that girl.

WHY? ANY PLANS?

At first, I made a reserve on this adopt, and really wanted to enter. I couldn't, though, because I was busy with a lot of other contests, and things that were going on with life.
When I saw that this had gotten extended, I jumped for joy. I had to take the opportunity. I know my entry may be similar to .sweetypie.'s, but I really liked the idea I'd originally come up with. I couldn't discard it.
