Story:
Shade and Illi wondered around the forest. Sighing, Shade stared up at the darkening sky.
" Night will come soon " Illi spoke Shade's thoughts. The male cat nodded and glanced around the forest. " We will have to find shelter " Illi added, once again reading Shade's thoughts.
" Stop doing that " Shade grumpily replied as he walked along the leaf littered, grassy floor. " I think there is a cave close by...that or we will have to sleep in a tree "
" I don't remember any caves here " Illi replied with a sad tone. " I guess we are going to have to sleep in a tree...again... "
Shade sighed in annoyance, remembering the previous time when he had fallen out of the tree.
The pair walked along when Illi's sensitive ears picked up the faint sound of rustling. " Shade, stop " she spoke in a hushed whisper as she stared in the direction of the sound. Shade instantly understood and his ear's perked up, trying to find the sound. Cautiously, the dark cat walked towards the direction of the sound. Slowly, he peered over the edge of a bush and paused when he came nose-to-nose with a small kit. Jumping in fright, Shade reversed quickly as a small kit pushed past the bush as she giggled.
The kit kept giggling as she ran under Shade's legs and gently chewed his front right leg.
" A kit? " Illi questioned, flying down from Shade's back and peering at the small kit. The kit grinned at the bat before letting out a feeble meow and laughed.
" Why is there a kit? " Shade asked, his face confused and unknowing as to why the kit was chewing his leg...again. " Where is her mum?! Or dad! "
Illi shrugged her winged shoulders as she watched the kit with fascination. " Perhaps she is lost? " Illi questioned before Shade shrugged.
" Doubt it, I am sure her parents will find her...c'mon Illi " Shade replied, stepping over the kit and walked away.
" Hey wait up! " Illi said in annoyance as she glanced at the kit quickly before flying after Shade. " We shouldn't just leave the kit... " Illi began to complain but Shade cut her off.
" No " he growled. " Kit's are huge pains! They require huge amounts of attention even if it is for only a few minutes! "
Before the two could argue, a small 'meow' was heard behind them. Looking behind them, the pair noticed the kit happily following them, a grin plastered on her face.
Illi was about the coo over the kit before Shade beat her to speaking. " Get lost " he bluntly replied and sped up his pace.
However, the kit followed the two as she to sped up her pace to a jog to keep up.
Shade meowed in annoyance before he paused by a tree and began to climb it, the small kit watching with fascination. Once Shade was up, he settled onto a comfortable branch and curled up, Illi at the centre of his fluffy pile. A continueous meowing was heard below the two and when Shade peered down, he stared at the kit with annoyance. " Go.Away " he angrily meowed back before tucking his head away again. The meowing grew louder and Illi spoke up.
" You know there are wolves in this forest... " she spoke slowly, her tone suggestive to adopting the kit. " A kit wouldn't last the night here...she can't climb a tree and I bet she wouldn't know the dangers... "
Shade meowed angrily. " Fine! " he snapped as he uncurled from his ball and climbed down the tree. Staring at the kit with slight annoyance, he picked her up before climbing back up into the tree. Curling back into a tight ball, the kit and Illi at the center. Shade heard a faint, happy sigh come from the kit as she snuggled her face into his soft fur, and both soon fell asleep.

Personality: Amaya is a bit wild. Some may be intimidated by how outgoing she is, but most people warm up to her quickly. Everything she does is normally fast paced, because she loves the feeling of adrenaline running through her veins. Sure, she will listen to her parents and follow to rules to a certain point. She feels too controlled and loves adventure and risk in her life. Without many hazard cats around, Amaya has grown to be a very untamable, yet graceful cat. Overtime she has learned to not just survive, but to live. Even though she takes risks, she is a very good problem solver and is extremely talented when it comes to protecting a loved one or escaping. Her coat is as wild as she is, but no one should underestimate her. In her head, she thinks a lot to herself and constantly thinks of new ideas or solves problems in her life. Outgoing and cheerful. Nothing could ever wash the positive energy from Amaya. After being abandoned and separated from her siblings, it just made her determined to find them and courageous.

Story: Alone. An orphan. Separated by her siblings in a heavy storm. Amaya was wet and cold, shivering in the rain. Helpless and weak. No one was there to save her now. She was small and soaking wet, but able to let out one mew. For a sanskira, it would have been an easy meal. Roi has always been alone after his mother died. A lone wolf, but wasn't very friendly. The giant sanskira heard the small meow, and slowly peeked up. Amaya noticed two red eyes staring at her, but for some reason she wasn't afraid. Trembling, the small kitten stood up shakily and began walking towards the beast. Roi, in surprise, perked his ears and sniffed the small kitten's head. Helpless and weak. Amaya's life was like a little glass ball, and Roi could decide to shatter it or protect it. After thinking, Roi picked up the small kitten and brought it back to the ruins, a small and destroyed castle he lived in. The camaraderie between them only grew stronger each day, until they were inseparable. Roi wonders to himself, what would have happened if he hadn't been there? Amaya looks up to Roi, but even though he wasn't her father she respected him like one.
