Its a funny story how I got you. You probably won't remember: maybe you do. You're smart, smarter than any other cat I've seen. You know, I was supposed to get a dog, a little tiny dog: and instead, I chose you, a ten pound fat, white, cougar looking, very aggressive cat. You were supposed to be put down, but I wouldn't allow it. I brought you home anyway.
The day I brought you home, you were a terror, a menace: you ripped the curtains, greeted people like a bear then attacked their ankles, and nonetheless, I was the small little girl who had befriended the 'house demon', as my grandmother called you. It only got worse when I decided to teach you how to open locked doors, open cabinets, and tear across the house at incredible speeds.
Its almost ten years since I've had you: and you're my support. You're my knights armor, the little thing at home that keeps the soldier going in the mist of battle. Through my depression, the foster care, the ongoing wars in between myself, you were there. You've rode on planes with me, you've traveled through over fifteen states via car rides, and here we are.
We've come to a point of equilibrium, the kind that puts me at peace. Every morning, we get up, I say goodmorning and you always meow back and rub your head against my cheek. You follow me for breakfast, and then wait on my chair for me to say goodbye before I leave for school. You're waiting on my bed for when I get home, and thats the first thing I do when I get home: come say hello to you. And you'll meow back and put your head down a little bit so I can kiss the top of your head, and then I can do my homework. Its the same thing at night, too. I don't know what I'd do without it.

If there was one person in the world I could ever save, one person at all: it wouldn't even be a person. It would be my beloved cat, Ponce. Because if there's one thing that I owe my everything to, it would be that darn cat.

I don't know if I'm allowed to note that the call name is based on Hachikō's name in Japanese, which translates to "Faithful dog Hachikō", and his show name is produced from the deriviates from 'hachi' meaning eight, and a suffix 'kō' meaning affection. Hachikō had a profound love and loyalty to the professor, hence 'Eight Times the Affection'.

As the owner of this dog, I'm stating that in general this dog's genotype and phenotype are not to be altered.



Because there is nothing in the rules concerning the ability to change dogs without owners consent, aside from banning [which I am not], as far as I am concerned changing it without my permission violates CS rules as there is nothing stating in the current rules as of today that the owners and artists retain the right to change aspects of a character without the owner's permission.
