explanation (optional): The Septimus Heap series is a book about a boy. The Seventh Son of A seventh son, which means he has incredible wizardry. Septimus was kidnapped as a child and finds his family at the end of book one, the other books chronical his apprenticeship to the most powerful wizard in the land. I was reminded of this book because the main character has a mess of blond hair, and this pretty boy looks like he could be a worthy steed for a heroic wizard.

But Max Ride ended up winning me over cx This series is the one that started an obsession for me and it is still close to my heart
