French feminine form of BERNARD. Saint Bernadette was a young woman from Lourdes in France who claimed to have seen visions of the Virgin Mary. Derived from the Germanic element bern "bear" combined with hard "brave, hardy". The Normans brought it to England, where it replaced the Old English cognate Beornheard. This was the name of several saints, including Saint Bernard of Menthon who built hospices in the Swiss Alps in the 10th century, and Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, a 12th-century theologian and Doctor of the Church. Mysterious||Masked||Secluded||Shrouded

Lyric is mysterious, she hides her thoughts often though her quiet and reserved personality. She masks her real emotions because she always got stepped on when she was little. Unable to say no, she was often tricked into doing the wrong things. Secluded, she often likes to be alone, not that she doesn’t like the company of others, but she does enjoy her time when she is alone and can just be herself. Shrouded, it’s hard to explain, but she is very good at making sure others don’t get to know her when she doesn’t want them to. She is shrouded by thoughts that she will get hurt again if people think she is nothing but a goodie goodie.

Lyric isn't the happiest Cleud, unlike her siblings, she has a darker outlook on life, she hates her birth name given to her and only goes by her nickname Lyric. Lyric was a nickname given to her when she was little because she used to sing like a song bird. Surprisingly it was a name given to her by her friend who thought she had a lovely voice. As she got older she transferred schools to a higher grade class where she ended up bullied around because others soon discovered her inability to say no developed from a young age. Pushed around and teased she then became more distant after she finally had enough… A bully had pushed her around to much and ended up causing an accident where she lost her ability to sing. She now is a selective mute and rarely talks loudly to avoid showing her voice is hurt. She lost the reason she was given her beloved nickname and for that reason is why she has become sad and distant.

Lyric really doesn't like her siblings all that much but they are family and she would stand by them in the end. She thinks Ace is to much of a rockstar, he's loud and nosy. He's flirtatious with others and she really doesn't like that about him, but it's one of his 'charms' as stated by her friend Viviana. Lyric however doesn't mind his softer side that comes out when they are all together, he's protective of his family and for that reason alone she would help him when he needs it. Though she really wishes he would stay out of her business, to this day she is unsure if he ever did find out about why she doesn't sing anymore and just hasn't told her or what.

Lyric's relationship with Vanilla is up and down, she's nice and playful but always stealing her candy. Lyric actually enjoys sweets from time to time and rarely gets to enjoy them no thanks to this little thief. If she leaves her hidden stash anywhere it'll be gone the next day. Lyric really dislikes this quality of her sister but in the end she still cares for her. She wishes she would calm down on the sugar though, a hyper sister isn't very much fun. For this reason Lyric and Vanilla don't hang out as much as they could. Though when they get along and work together they are a fearsome duo that shouldn't be messed with.

All in all Lyric's feelings towards her siblings is your average crazy family that doesn't always get along, well no family is perfect and this is a good example of it. Despite the bad feelings they still all love and care for each other and that is the most important part.

Lyric actually deeply enjoys easter, she likes painting eggs and finding unique ways to smash them… Yes Smash them. She doesn't care for the hiding or the finding, she likes making it. She finds this to be very therapeutic and relaxing for her, taking her feelings and then getting rid of them and wonderful way to let off steam without her siblings questioning her. She can easily claim the egg was ruined and she would try again afterwards.
