When Hand was a baby, his barn name was always going to be Spot. However, some young girl started calling him Handsome, because, well, he was! The name stuck, and eventually got shortened to Hand.
Hand is an Appaloosa/Selle Francais mix.
His mother is a chestnut blanket Appaloosa called Spotted Desires
His father is a light gray Selle Francais called Simply Elegant.
Together, they made Simply Spotted!
All his gaits are long and forward, yet very smooth.
He's an excellent jumper. He's not a showy jumper, but is very careful.
He almost always gets his striding correct, but he would rather take a long jump than chip.
Hand gets along pretty well with other horses, but is very submissive and so gets taken advantage of.
His pink nose burns very easily. Poor guy.
