"Growin' up was the least bit of an issue to me. though my family was unique.
Ev'ry day I asked Pa the same questions "what were our purpose here." or something
stupid like "why is teh sky blue", only getting a few nods for grumbles...especially at
the lake where we spent long summer months... It were that summer when teh lightnin
bugs would buzz around and ma would make her world famous pie...and I would sit with
pa just watching over the lakeside...just watchin... Pa always told me I was different
and believe me, I knew it...he didn' appreciate my interest all that much in them
comic books and interest in them computers...
I appreciated life indoors one the internet and play them games on our old consol...
granted tey were fishin and huntin games but thats what I expected of pa...

What did I really enjoy at that lake? thats a good question...I met my best friend there...
though she's long since moved away. I had a large attraction to her you see, granted its
unrequited love...but she was my first crush really. her name was miss Fantine and she
was the prettiest thing I ever did see..
She stayed in the cabin 'cross the lake, I always saw her window from my rhoom. She didn't
fish or hunt or nothin, I often saw her in the backwoods collectin
random green plants and shrooms
...sometimes forest flowers as well. one day i decided to join her in the collectin and
we talk and talked and talked...
she was real friendly and in an instant, I knew we were gonna be best friends.
I learned she didn't live there,
that her cabin was only a summer home for her and that she lived primarily in england.
We talked about our families and about our interests and stuff
and sometimes we would stop just to gaze at the clouds,
to kick our feet into the lake's shinin waters.
But unfortunately summers don't last very long.. and she did have to leave.
I was sad when she left and sometimes in teh summers after
I would see her come back a few days at a time,
but eventually she stopped comin.

I guess you could say that my favorite thing 'bout the lake is teh memories that surround it.
An' my favorite thing to do is just teh relax and remanence on my past...gazing and kicking
my feet inta the cold water or jus' laying back and gazin' at the clouds.
My childhood was here and memories I had with Fan stayed here.
As I gaze into the lake now, when I do get outta teh house at times, memories
of that summar swam in my head. That gal I fell for is now mated with a little squirt
of her own and ya know what? I'm happy for her. And she even says I can babysit 'em
and take 'em to teh lake, I don't mind tellin my story there twice, after all"

My Story;;

Marius was born to a family of two in Alabama. His mother was a stay at home parent and his Father worked at a bait shop. When Marius was three, his parents took him to the lake house for the first time. Contrary to belief, he didn't have many good memories there until fantine came along.

Mari stared out over the lake and sighed, his little tail swishing the water as he looked over the body of water. His Pa was in the shed cleaning the bait buckets....all he tended to do on the lake was fish anymore. Not that he minded...it was peaceful but it got real boring after a while. Marius missed his friends, his entire summer was seemingly taken by this old wooden house every summer. His ma told him that generations of their family had stayed here summers before, even during colonial days....he doubted though at this point. If he were home, he would be probably playing that huntin and fishin game he got from pa for his birthday or spend time outside with friends. Marius sighed again watching the water ripple with the touch of his tail tip. Everything was quiet until the sound of a moater woke him from his trance. Across the lake a car drove in to a lone cabin. That cabin was always for sale....was it bought finally? His ears twitched in thought and he looked over the lake, his tail twitching. He saw the outline of another jbd come out of the car, two adults that waltzed up to the cabin....like rich folk, he thought sighing a little. Rich people tended to stay in these cabins....but not very long. He heard his ma talk about them commonly while cooking meals. He looked to the car again and watched another figure come out except much much smaller. It was child like himself, she was pretty too in his eyes. She was a kid...like him...he flicked his tail in excitement. He could play with a kid this time! ... and all he could do was stare for a second....comprehending what to do.

Marius eventually got up the nerve to say hi and they became fast buddies. They went on many adventures together and eventually Marius gained a puppy crush on her. Though, one day she was forced to leave and say goodbye...

"I'm sorry M-Mhari" Fantine stuttered, her tail and ears drooping a little. "Mother and Father said the lake is too filthy here... I have no choice" Marius frowned, his left ear twitching. "Please cant you stay? I have no fun being here....I'll be lonely..." "I'm sorry Marius.....We're best friends right? forever, its not like we wont see each other again" Marius looked up at her thoughtful yellow eyes "Really? you mean it?" Fantine nodded "Of course"

Years later Marius was the first in his family to graduate college, making his father proud. Marius now works at a retro game shop, making a few visits each year to the lake where he spend summers with Fantine. He would not meet her again until working in the shop, one early june...

Marius now has taken ownership of that shop and allows Eli help him out. He is happy for Fantine and hopes for the best of her

Reason for nickname:
Finn had difficulty speaking up until he was eight, during the time that he referred to himself as Finn his exact words being 'I is Finn!'

Personality:

On the outside Finn is distant, shy, and quiet.

There is a 99% chance that when you first meet Finn he will clam up and refuse to speak. Many think that this is because he doesn't like new beans, or that he has had bad social experiences. Neither are true. Finn has very severe social anxiety, when he meets new people there is a chance he will not speak at all. Unless, of course, you mention Adventure Time.

Unless you mention AT Finn is likely to stay quiet, only reply in mumbles and glance the other way whenever you look at him. It is unwise to ask push him to talk to you when you've just met, as Finn doesn't enjoy speaking to those he hasn't seen/mumbled to more than once.

Overall Finn is very unlikely to engage in conversation with you the first time you meet.


On the inside Finn is childish, emotional/sensitive, adventurous, imaginative, excitable, kind, expressive, smart, and a huge procrastinator.

Finn is more of a child than an adult. When he grew up, his mind never seemed to grow up. In the sense that he has a childish sense of optimism, and love of life. He understands things such as life, death, and how children are made, as every adult should. But retains the innocence that every child is born with.

Finn is more emotional than he would like to admit. He wears his emotions on his sleeve most of the time, letting the world see how he feels and not bothering to curb his tears. This in all account should contradict his shy feelings toward strangers, but seeing as he hardly ever comes in contact with strangers, he mostly spend time alone, it isn't a problem.

Finn is the most adventurous guy you will ever meet. He is always up for something new, no matter how dangerous it might be. His sense of adventure pushes him to try anything new, no matter the risks. Especially if someone has dared him to do something dangerous. One could easily call him impulsive, as he often tries new thing without thinking them over first.

Finn's imagination makes his adventures all the more interesting. In his mind the world is a place filled with monsters, fairies, unicorns, ancient spells put on princesses, and basically anything mythical. Because of this he is often called delusional, and mocked by more down-to-earth people.

Once Finn has warmed up to you, he will be the dictionary definition of excitable. "responding rather too readily to something new or stimulating; too easily excited." Finn is exactly that, he is easily excited and refuses not to try anything new. He gets most excited when a new episode of Adventure Time premiers.

Finn is very expressive. He expresses his feelings easily through words[only in the company of those he trusts.], using his paws to elaborate what he is saying. His thoughts are easy to decipher from his words and hand motions. Though it does take time to fully understand his dialect, he is good at illuminating his words.

Despite being childish and immature Finn is very intelligent. He is quite good at maths, poetry, literature, and science. He is about as smart as the average school nerd.

Finn puts things off like no other, he doesn't ever remember that things need done immediately, he is the type to wait until the last moment to finish a three day project.
Overall Finn is a pretty nice guy, who though complicated, can be jumbles of fun.


Favorite thing to do at the lake:
Finn enjoys many things at the lake, swimming in the cool water, or lying in the sun with one paw in the water on a hot summer day. But the thing Finn enjoys most is waiting until dark when the fireflies come out. Lighting up the sky with their legendary beauty.
The best thing about fireflies is lying in the dark next to the cool water and watching them dance like stars in the sky.

Tazzie ;
Finn likes Tazzie for the most part. She is fun, and excitable but can be annoying at times. She is very motherly toward him, which he appreciates. All in all Tazzie is a very good friend to him and he enjoys her company tremendously. She also enjoys adventure time, which is a huge plus for Finn.

Ocean ;
Finn isn't as close with Ocean as he is with Tazzie. In fact, Finn is pretty distant from Ocean. Though Ocean is the son of Tazzie he is not sociable in the least. Not even after he has got to know someone, so Finn has difficulty relating to Ocean.

Tiberius Gliese ; [ owned by the incredible Todd. ]
One of Finn's favorite people to be around is Tiberius. Like himself Tiberius is adventurous and curious, and smart as well. Finn adores hanging out with him, they often get themselves into tons of trouble. Finn's favorite thing about Tiberius is the fact that he likes nighttime, and going outside. Finn is often inviting him to go to the lake with him and watch fireflies. Another of their favorite activities is video-game night, staying up all night in front of the television and playing video games until the sun peaks over the mountains.

Finn adores Enika. He looks up to her, he thinks her job as a paramedic is one of the coolest things ever. He also likes how to the point she is, it really helps to make things much simpler.

Hunter ; [ owned by the incredible pipsqueak99 ]
Finn likes Hunter pretty well, but thinks he might be a bit too full of himself. Finn enjoys talking to him about all different things, because Hunter is very, very smart. Though Finn doesn't understand much about Hunter's passion ; architecture.

Finn isn't 100% sure what to think about Mori. He finds him to be charming and smart, but also a bit of a sociopath. He enjoys talking to him, but he can be a bit all over the place in his opinion.
He does, however enjoy being around him.

Meep is the very best friend of Finn, even though Meep can't technically talk. Finn found Meep sleeping inside a hollowed out computer monitor at a dump during one of his adventures.
