AAAAH!!!! I LOVE this tolter!!! o_O

Name: Butterfly Effect // Ed
Gender: Stallion
Favorite treat: Knowledge
Heart warming story:
When Edward was just a foal he was often by himself, no other foals wanted to play with him because well he didn't really know how too. His mother grew more and more worried about him, thinking there was something wrong with him, but that was when the renowned physicist, Edward Lorenz. Now of course you are wondering why would a renowned physicist want a little foal that he had to break in and take care of all the time, well the simple answer was this, the way horses move is even more beautiful to a physicist then to anyone else, because it is physics in motion everytime they take a step. So little Edward went home with Lorenz, this was of course after he had discovered and coined the term Butterfly Effect, and well, after seeing little Edward's markings he just had to name him it, and so his nickname became Ed, after Edward himself, and maybe a little help from Mister Ed the talking horse.
As Ed grew up alone on the farm with Edward, his wife and child, he learned more and more, because Lorenz would work, in the stable, around the fields, and in the saddle, he would always be doing calculations, or spotting of ideas and possible theories and questions. As Ed absorbed this knowledge he started to wonder things too, like why can't horses and humans communicate together in the same way, why must horses always listen, why where they being riden, he learned quite a lot of complex math and physics as well because Lorenz would always practice on him before giving speeches and talking about his papers at universities and banquets. Ed noticed that Lorenz was growing older as he hit his prime, and that sometimes he couldn't get onto his back anymore for rides. And then one day Lorenz didn't come to see him and tell him more riddles of time and space, Ed being the smart horse he was got out of his stall and walked right up to the front door, before kicking it with his hoof a few times. That's when Cheryl, his daughter, opened the door in tears, she kind of stood there for a moment, before walking him through their house and to Lorenz. Ed whinnied at him to get up but he didn't he nuzzled his chest and then sniffed him and realized his thirst for knowledge would never be quenched again, by his best friend, he cried, he cried like a horse, even though deep down at that moment he was a man. He stayed with Lorenz for a little while before walking back to the door, where Cheryl, let him out. He looked around lost and watched as a truck pulled up, it was Lorenz's grandson, he saw Ed just standing there looking sad, and ran up to him wrapping his arms around Ed's neck. Ed hugged the little boy back, they had both lost their source of knowledge. That day the little boy and Ed stayed together, and the little boy just talked, told him stories of his grandfather, saying things his grandfather used to say, all the while making both Ed and himself feel better. That little boy is now a little man and comes home from school everyday to tell Ed all he has learned, while feeding, grooming, cleaning, tacking, and riding him. They are now each others new source of knowledge.

Heart warming story:
Explosions, yells, gunfire and the sound of screaming horses. The noise was unmistakably the atmosphere of war as a small troop of mounted soldiers steered their steeds through the fray. Most of their regiment had been killed, dismounted, or separated from each other leaving only a fraction of the original hundred men. One horse, a dark bay with wide eyes, flanked the small group at a similar pace. Mud and dust had plastered onto his once tidy coat and tack, covering his ears and almost blocking the commands of his rider. A battle like this was no place for a horse, but wherever his master went, he followed. Another loud boom sent metal, rocks and mud flying at the troops, another good soldier was lost. But they continued, only showing pity for a second. It seemed that as the horses ran faster, more and more dropped out of view like flies. There were only three others when the enemy lines came into view, a large gash in the earth, called a trench, stretched as far as his eyes could see. Gunfire crackled louder, but it seemed more like miniature explosions through his ears. The weight on his back got lighter, so the horse stopped while the other soldiers carried on. His eyes turned to his owner before the silence from the remaining troops signaled a loss.
A snort snapped the images away as a dark bay horse continued his walk along the calm French streets. No place for bad memories, he thought as he turned his head towards a gold and blue carriage that rumbled over uneven cobble in front if him. Small candle street lamps reflected their soft light on the dew and puddles between the bricks and the shining armor and badges of the men above him.
It was a party, a ball, or that's what the other cavalry horses had told him. A night of thanks and festivities for the war hero's and their steeds. His master rode, somewhat slouched, on top of him. During the war, his shoulder had been shot and his leg had broken from the fall. But the horses master would never show signs that anything about a constant limp bothered him. He was a strong man, even after such a horrible and unnecessary feat.
The carriage turned another corner, entering the courtyard of what seemed to be palace. Large patches of green grass decorated with hedges, roses, sculptures and fountains led the group to a large opening in the center of the gardens. A large circle of cobble road was their destination and as they entered it, a loud cheer erupted from the crowd that had arrived. The horses' ears flicked back at the sudden noise, thankfully it didn't get much louder after that. People chatted softly and occasionally laughed as French music played from a band on a nearby stage. The horses had been stationed by a water trough on the grass with their leads tied to a post. No one came to visit except for the occasionally woman to pet them or their masters returning to rub their heads and tell them every was okay.
Around the halfway mark of the ball, a new act played on one of the more open fields. Seven white and grey horses gracefully began their performance in a ring formation. They stood on their hind legs, balanced on thin planks, and used painted wooden hoops to swing around their heads. Their act was definitely a popular one. After it had ended, one of the mares trotted towards him. The difference was almost comical. A soft, graceful and innocent beast of a light grey dappled coat touching noses with a rough, battled scarred being like himself. But this didn't seem to bother her. The bay horse studied her closer as she as she spoke. "A true war hero shouldn't be alone on an occasion this nice." He nodded in agreement, and, not being much of the speaker, stayed quiet. She simply tilted her head and moved to an empty spot beside him, staying for the rest of the night.
The two might not have stayed together for very long, but the thought of separation never crossed their minds.

Masquerade Ball

Username:fjord rider
Name: Twilight Masquerade Ball 'Aden'
Gender: Stallion
Favorite treat: Shh... Dont tell.. his favourite treats are Jaffa Cakes... I know, chocolate is poison and all that!
Heart warming story:
When Aden was young something particularly memorable happened. One stormy night, when Aden was about 1 year old, when lightning flashed and thunder growled, the horses in the barn were spooking. Aden was terrified. He gave his mother a small neigh, for she was about three stalls away now, which was answered back in a trembling whinny. A lightning flash blazed across the sky and the horses were whinnying in terror. Whites of eyes were showing, sweat was breaking through their glossy skins. Some of the horses reared in terror. The thunder crackled towards the back of Aden's stall. He plunged forwards and threw back his heels. Then, he tried to retract his feet. His left hind was stuck in the wood of his stable. He shrieked in pain and blood ran down the wall. The wood had splintered. His mother reared frantically and kicked at her door wildly. Unfortunately, his mother was a known escape artist and she had tree bolts and a kick bolt on her stable. The door wouldn't budge. Aden started to panic. He tugged at his foot, injuring it worse. He started to tremble and sweat. More lightning flashed and thunder rumbled, he panicked more. He could hear the other terrified whinnies from the other stable. Suddenly, light hooves were heard trotting through the barn, it fell silent. The only sounds were the thrashing winds and thunder and this clip-clopping ringing out through the barn. A sense of calm surged through the barn. Suddenly, a little black mare appeared at his stable, Midnight Foxtrot(My tolter on here), a normally shy little filly. She nickered to him quietly and soothed him. She carefully slid the bolt back in her teeth and pushed the door open. At every little sound she flinched slightly. He nickered to her desperately. She inspected his wound and broke bit of the wall of between her teeth, until there was enough room for him to slide his foot out. She trotted off and came back with a wet cloth. Aden lifted his injured leg and Foxtrot placed the cloth on it. She washed away the blood and stayed with him until the morning came. She neighed frantically, when the doors of the barn opened, getting the attention of the barn owner. A few minutes later the vet was here and Aden had his wound stitched up. Foxtrot was praised for her bravery, but she was always and is still modest about it.

Image Story: Pounding hooves rang in the young stallion's ear. Excitement pulsed through his veins and the cold air stung the back of his throat. A whinny sounded from one of the horses to his right, making him shift his gaze slightly. Four pairs of yellow eyes were following the herd. Wolves. The herd panicked, no longer galloping in union and leaving a foal standing wide eyed all alone. Junip corrected his hooves for a quick turn around. The wolves were closing in. Rage bubbled in his chest as he screeched at the top of his lungs. The wolves whirled their heads around to face the stallion's rearing hooves. He pounded down, kicked, and trampled any wolf he could. The foal hid behind Junip, calling for it's mother. The wolves ran yelping as Junip snorted with satisfaction. He turned to the foal who was now being comforted by an older mare. She gazed at Junip with a grateful glow. He nickered a "You're Welcome".
