Gingershaps is a mischievous little thing who lurks around causing confusion and chaos in the work-shop. Like peter pan he refuses to grow up and spends most of time trying to prove this, he wants to stay a child forever because he believes that when he is older everything will get worse. Gingersnaps can sometimes be increasingly stubborn, refusing to listen his higher rankings because what can they do to a kid? You can find gingersnaps hoarding presents and cookies in his favorite hiding place. Like most boys he can sometimes be a handful but you can count of him to get the job done, he is very hard-working when he wants to be. No one can out do gingersnaps when he is on the job, he can fold, wrap, and organize presents faster than anyone and he loves his job intensely. His most favorite thing to do would be hanging out with the big guy; he feels extreme affection for him and thinks of him as a father figure. This is not surprising considering gingersnaps is an orphan. Gingersnaps harbors an abandonment issue and hates to be left alone, so he sticks around others a lot.

How did he save christmas?: he started to wrap the present- moving the paper around the whole present and making sure the tape was just perfect. once added the wrapping paper and perfect tape he stood back before frowning.. it was missing something. thinking for a moment he smirked before throwing a golden bow on- it went well with the green and red pinstripe paper. patting his hands together he picked his small green bookbag up and slowly walked away- ready to go home. walking out of the door he rubbed his eyes before hearing a husky cry. tilting his head up and pricking his ears he looked about, looking for the raspy voice.. the elves should've gone home by now.. hopefully. walking around the tidy workshop he found it coming from santa's room. his personal one. tilting his head he gave a small knock and quietly called out the white-bearded man's name. " santa.. you okay ? " he questioned, eyes flickering around waiting for an answer. hearing another cry he was about to knock again before hearing the old man bellow, " oh no lewis- please help ! i've lost my glasses ! " opening the door he was faced with a dirty room- papers everywhere and toys on the ground. he dropped his green bag and went towards santa- who was checking his chimney for his glasses. " santa- " the man turned towards him, covered in soot wait-up yet not covering the shiny marks on his hat. " ... " he was silent before reaching forward, pulling the sparkling thing off of the black hat. brushing it off carefully and gently he smirked at what it was- santa's glasses. " oh thank you lewis ! where'd you find them ? " he asked cheerfully brushing the soot of his face and staring down at jingle. " oh no where in particular.. "

how Chiumbo saved Christmas //
It was Christmas Eve, and the sleigh was ready to fly. Chiumbo was doing his regular job to make sure everything is in order. As Santa called out the reindeer's names, they started to sparkle and run, soon, they lept off the ground and set off into the sky. The elves smiled and waved to Santa as he flew off to the houses. As Chiumbo heard a crash, he looked at the list. In Chiumbo's surprise, he forgot the sleigh test run. Chiumbo rushed off to find Santa.

It was dark and cold. Chiumbo trudged through the thick, white snow. As he trudged, he heard a jingle getting closer each step. In 15 minutes, Chiumbo spotted Santa.
"Where's Rudolph?" Chiumbo asked Santa. Rudolph never forgot anything.
"Remember? Rudolph has a bad cold." Sighed Santa.
Chiumbo stared at the snow. "Well- I could be Rudolph tonight." Chiumbo smiled. His grin was as white as the snow.
Santa looked up at Chiumbo. "You're right. You can guide my sleigh tonight, young Chiumbo."Santa said with glee.
Chiumbo hooked up to the front of the sleigh. "So- how do I fly?" Chiumbo asked Santa, getting ready to fly.
Santa laughed as he sat onto the sleigh. "Well, just run, you'll fly. And don't look down!" Santa smiled.
Chiumbo laughed.
"Ho ho ho!" Santa hollered. It was the signal. The deer and Chiumbo flew off into the night sky. It turned out to be the best Christmas ever for Chiumbo.
