Picture of his favorite fruit ;; The Matoa fruit. Dominic loves it and will react to it in the same way that all Belldee's react to tea. It's a Papuan fruit, and though it's hard for me to describe what it tastes like, I found this:


Fruit Matoa (Pometia pinnata) is a typical fruit of indigenous Papuans. This sweet fruit has flavors similar to kelengkeng fruit or rambutan fruit. Matoa trees grow tall, and its wood could be for furniture or house framing. The fruit is a seasonal fruit which bear during September-October.




Pometia pinnata is a large tropical hardwood and fruit tree species, with common names including matoa, taun tree, island lychee, tava, and of the plant family Sapindaceae (maple and lychee family). Naturally widespread, the trees grow through south east Asia, Malesia and the Pacific region. They grow up to tall canopy trees of 40 m (130 ft) tall. They have pinnate leaves and dark red fruits up to 4 cm (1.6 in) long, each with three seeds, surrounded by a fleshy aril somewhat like a lychee, edible and popular fruit for eating.
