[size=85]sername;; Zoe-Underland

ame ;; Alice Maria (given by her adoptive mother)
Jeanne Maria (self-chosen/preferred name)

ender;; Female

ersonality;;
Jeanne desires to be strong enough to refuse to let others walk over her but lacks the strength and self-confidence. On the inside, she is a coward. She originally took the name "Jeanne" so that she could feel like a true hero. Sadly, she did not acknowledge that names don't grant power, leaving her the same she had always been. She doesn't like being the center of attention and tries to avoid doing anything that would count as "showing off." While she is often afraid, she has small bursts of inspiration that allow her to shrug off what others thing and dive in to lend a helping paw to those in need. She tries to live by the words: "A hero is not measured by image but by deeds."
♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕
Her friends view her as a kind child, because she is docile and refuses to pick arguments with others. Just as Joan had gone from a peasant family to a hero, Jeanne desires to go from a "nobody" to a "somebody." She wants to earn her dream status fairly, making sure to put full effort in a task, and will not step down to low means to get the job done. However, when she finds she is unable to finish the task or requires help, she seeks the help of her friends, which happens quite often. She is generally ashamed of having to rely on others to do things and doesn't quite understand that she doesn't have to do things alone.

tory/History of herself;;
It was a cold and windy day, the waves of the east coast were lapping up against the sandy shore, before dragging back, and then repeating the process. It was around noon the sun high in the sky. Before a weary head lifted itself up from the sand, bits dropping off. What ever it was, slowly sat up. Shaking itself as it glanced wearily around the area. It didn't remember were it was, or what had happened.
♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕
The creature stood up, her skeletal like frame making her look as if she was starved, but still had enough meat on her bones to live by. She knew what she was, she was the beauty of the Sea, a Siren. But why was she on this beach?
Was she unaware of were she was? It was obvious she knew of her positioning, or her own place on this beach. But could anyone tell her why she was there? Her thin frame slowly shambled down the beach, the sound of the ocean slowly vanishing from behind her.
♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕
She walked up over the dunes of sand, and just came to a silent stop. Her eyes widening as the town below came into view. She was a small child, but even something so sudden would scare her. Not interest her. She started to step backwards, before she tumbled back. Laying on her back, stunned. She just stared up at the sunny blue sky above her. The wide span reaching far beyond her site.. A slight smile on her face, the young child let out a giggle. Before something got in her vision, casting a shadow across her face. Making her squint in confusion.

"Hello?"

Her Voice squeaks with the use, not use to speaking of those who are not her own. She watched as the other creature looked down at her, making her eep and try to wiggle down the sand. Obviously spooked by the sudden appearance of the lady. The Ladies name happened to be Lilla. A mother. She frowned as she watched the Child stand up, a look of worry crossing her face.

"Goodness me child! When was the last time you had a proper meal"

You could just hear the worry leaking off Lilla's tone. Making the younger shrink back more against the sand. Frightened. Her tail brushing against the sand, whimpering slightly. She was afraid. Afraid of the lady in front of her, and afraid of the new surrounding area. Of course it was a childish way to act, but goodness know's it was normal.
♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕
She could hear the lady speaking to her, but most of the words just went in one ear. And straight out the other. She heard snippets of what the lady said. Like 'Name' or 'what are you doing out here' but other then that, she refused to answer and just buckled down into the sand. Shivering slightly.

The young child just stared up at her, before she felt herself being picked up. She let out a rather loud cry of disdain, wanting to be let down at once. Before something ran through her knotty hair.

"Hush now child, Don't be afraid. I'm not here to wish you ill will."

She could hear the motherly tone in the ladies voice, something her own mother lacked. Even though Jeanne was afraid, she curled up to the Lady, whom she found out, was a lady called Lilla. She let out a yawn her head tucked up against her own chest, as the sound of the waves lulled her to sleep.
♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕
When Jeanne woke next, she would be in a plush bed, the blankets as blue as the sea, dotted with little turtles. Of course Jeanne freaked out, quickly sitting up. Before falling back down. a Headache blossoming through her temples, making her whine. She rubbed at her head with a paw. Before glancing up as the door opened, and the lady from Before walked in, carrying a tray with some food on it.

Jeanne glanced up at the lady, who placed the tray on the bedside table. "I hope you slept well dear. You passed out when I picked you up" you could hear the concern lacing the Ladies voice, which made Jeanne tilt her head to the side, "w-where am I?" Left her mouth. Her mind not even processing that she had spoken, "oh so you do talk" the lady chuckled, "your at my home. I took you here after I you passed out" she smiled, "here eat the soup, and drink the water. I'll be back later" Jeanne nodded, still thinking.
♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕
Some time had passed since then, Jeanne was still living with the Lady called Lilla, she found out that the mother had a Daughter, and a huge fascination with turtles, she couldn't say her name. So Lilla decided to call her Alice. A name cute and Girly enough. Jeanne didn't mind really, but she would eventually tell them her real name, just at this moment. Her mind was elsewhere.

Jeanne glanced up as her Mother walked into the room, "Good evening mother" she smiled softly as Lilla nodded in greeting. "How are you feeling?" Lilla asked, which made Jeanne shrug. "Could feel better" she whispered. Nuzzling into her blankets she sighed. Jeanne had gone and caught a cold, all because she stayed out at the beach a bit to long. Not that she minded, she giggled as she remembered seeing the baby turtles hatch and crawl Into the ocean. She had made a little path for them, sheltered from birds above. She sneezed slightly, making Lilla tisk and place a paw on Jeanne's forehead. "Silly child of mine" she whispered softy. Watching Jeanne yawn, nuzzling into her pillow.
"sorry Mama" she whispered. Dozing off.
♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕ ~ ♕
Jeanne was no fool to staring, or mean people. After all her sister was like that. She sighed and looked down. Her hair hiding her from the people around her.
She had just started school, something Lilla had been encouraging her to do for awhile now. She had begrudgingly agreed, not able to turn down her mothers puppy dog eyes... Again.. She sighed and walked into the school. Dread forming a pit in her stomach.

Jeanne had learnt that day, there a mean people. There are judgemental people, ignorant people, but there are also Accepting people. Jeanne had made a friend that day. A boy a year older then her. His name was Oliver, a very colourful, bright and cheerful dog. She sat with him and his friends at Lunchtime. Sharing tales, were as Oliver marvelled over her tail and markings. By the time the lunch bell went, Jeanne was happy. She had made friends and ignored anything nasty said about her.

She headed home, after bidding Oliver and Co. farewell, she made her way into the house. Only to be stopped by her mother. Who smiled happily, tugging her towards her Bedroom. She pulled her in. Indicating to the Tank on her back wall, making Jeanne's eyes widen, an even bigger smile crossed her mouth. Inside the Tank was a turtle, not a baby but not an Adult. She quietly walked closer. Not wanting to startle the thing. "Matthew" she mused. Giggling to herself, she liked that name. It was a soft Spoken name. "Mattieu" she stood up, smiling at her mother. Her chosen language at school was French, and she had class with Jacques one Of Oliver's brothers. She walked over to Lilla and hugged her, "Thank you Mama" she whispered. Before glancing around her turtle themed room.

"Now. This is Home"

hat happened when i was Living with Lilla;;
Well to say the least, she found me. She took me in, and she cared for me. As i was growing up i got really closer to my mother, and not so well with my sister. Mother taught me how to love nature, and love it's inhabitants, especially the turtles. But hey who doesn't like turtles.

Unfortunately, my sister Ryanna started to dislike me because momma started to favour me out of us.. Due to my like of Turtles and well most animals, you should see some of the pictures she took off my as a baby, she dressed me up as a baby turtle, and placed me in a room Decorated by Turtles.. it was cute, and scary at the same time. I Was Clingy to my mother, i'll admit that, i did't like leaving her side. But that was because she defended me.

I Remember when ever me and mom went out shopping, we would 'always' come home with something that had to do with Turtles.. Not that i mind, it makes me happy looking back at those items now and remembering all the happy memories connected to them.

But she only teaches little children to swim, because Adults tend to be wary of her, were as Children love how she looks and ask her how she looks like it.

hy I Dislike Adults.. and Prefer Children.. I guess I could tell you
Look at how i look.... to most, i look like a monster. To other's i don't belong.. and sometimes people made me know that. It upset me greatly.. i remember Adults telling there children that they didn't want me to teach them how to swim. Alot of Adults told me that..and told there children... it upset me. I Was sitting in the pool crying. Before i remember something clinging to my waist. It was a child i was teaching to swim. Loki.. was his name. He was glaring at the Adults and scolding them, which was rather adorable. His high pitched voice and scolding tone, made me feel embarrassed. And when a few other children got closer to me. It made me realize.. Children were nice, they didn't judge anyone on anything. Unless you had cooties. Were as Adults. Judged no matter what, and it was a rather sad thing to see..

hy I teach the Children;;
I teach the children to swim, cheesy. Childish but fun. I Enjoy watching them swim in the water, i enjoy watching them get all excited and go tell there parents. I Enjoy watching them chatter to each other in the water, it makes me excited when there swimming up and down. One thing i always make sure to teach the children, is to respect each other, respect the adults. And never judge another by how they look.

This kiamara goes by the name of Chesapeake, (although you could probably get away with calling her Chess). She gets her name after Chesapeake Bay in the Atlantic Ocean, (which happens to be north america's largest estuary).

Image
Image

Chess considers gender to be a petty and unimportant thing, but does go by female pronouns.

Girls - Marina and the Diamonds
(you can listen to this while reading the rest if you prefer c:)

While growing up, Chess spent most of her life in solitude. Because of her fairly frightening appearance, the other children would run away from her when she approached, yelling insults over their shoulder, like 'witch', 'demon', and 'freak'. Chess never held a grudge against anyone, until she finally had enough of it. She snapped. A young teenage boy, maybe 14, was at the docks at sunset with his friends. When Chess walked down the pier, getting some last minute shopping done, they began catcalling her. They said nasty, horrible things about her beautiful scales, which she spent a lot time each night making sure they were clean. They sang of how horrible her hair looked, and how they would have nightmares for the next week because their precious eyes had been forced to witnessed her face. Chess ignored them, before one of the brats had the nerve to come up and roughly grab her arm. She turned, raking sharp claws down the side of their face. Horrified, she stumbled back, afraid of what she had done. Chess had became the monster people around her expected her to be.

Afraid of the riot that may follow the boys running home to their parents, Chesapeake fled to a cave down by the lake. In the olden days, pirates had smuggled cases of wine and gold through the cove, but it these days it was empty. In the cave, the ground usually stayed dry, but in high tide only a small portion of the cave floor remained uncovered. Curled up in the back, shivering, Chess pitied herself and what she had become over the past few hours.

After a while of living in the damp cave, eating seafood for every meal, and having to adjust her sleep schedule so she was awake at night and asleep during the day, Chess began to grow cold. She despised the people that drove her to this, and soon she began to get more and more bold. At night, she would sneak into shops and steal small things. At first it was a couple pencils, then a flower bouquet in a vase, but she wanted attention more than anything. After more and more things started disappearing, a ridiculous story of the 'Chesapeake Ghost' began circulating, with an ever cheesier back story. The story depicted her as a lovey dovey quiet girl, when it was honestly quite the opposite.

Chesapeake toyed with an idea. While the sun was setting, yet it was still dark enough to need lights to see, she left the cave. Swimming under water, she dimly lit up the area around her under the water. Her fur ever-so-slightly glowed, but her eyes were what cast the most light. Sitting underwater, all she had to do was wait for someone to notice her. While it got darker and darker, she soon grew bored. She could breathe underwater just fine, but her large ears (which allowed her to hear most things around her with very good precision), were starting to get irritated by the water. She surfaced, her head coming above the water, and found a crowd of a dozen kias just staring at her. At first she was just as surprised, but she regained her ruthless facade. Letting out a loud cackle, she splashed water at the people on the dock above her. They backed up, panicking as though the salt water was acid.
"You guys wanted a look at the Chesapeake Ghost? Better take a long look, because it might just be the last thing you see!" She called up, before giving one more booming laugh, for dramatic effect.
Thus marked the first sighting of the Chesapeake Ghost.

You had come to the small boating town on a school trip, to understand the "history" of the small Spanish town you lived in. Back in the day, apparently, it used to be a smugglers town, that housed all sorts of pirates and such. The whole deal with the pirates hiding gold in every crevice they could find, frankly did not interest you one bit. Yeah, you and your friends would joke about it during history class, but outside of school you had no use for the knowledge of the small town you wished to leave at some point of your life.

That's why you weren't all happiness and sunshine when your teacher decided to drag everyone on a field trip. Sure, it beat sitting in math class for an hour, but everything the pirates left behind had been taken by the museum for 'documentation purposes'. The only thing left was rocks, more rocks, and you guessed it! -rocks. You and your friends were left to wander around some docks, pretend to actually want to be here, and spit in the water like the immature brats you guys were. Business as usual, was what it seemed. That was, until one of your friends pointed to a small crowd growing on one of the docks to your left. Pushing and mumbling apologies, you guys made it to the front of the line, where an old man stood.

"So 'ya folks want to hear the legend of the Chesapeake Ghost, huh?" He shouted into the sultry summer air. There was a few agreeing noises made from the crowd, but it was mostly people looking uncomfortable in the shared body-heat of the crowd.
"Well, y'all are in luck! I'll start the story, so everyone 'git real quiet." He said to the already silent crowd. "Old coot's gonna go senile." Your friend whispers to the group, and you smirk slightly, still looking at the guy. Your sure that this will be a story to tell about the trip when you guys were back on the bus. At least you were getting some form of entertainment today.

"Well, it all started on a stormy day, back in good 'ol 1861. The tide was high, and warnings went out to not go into the water, as you'd probably drown before they ever got the boat to where you were. The story starts with a girl- let's call her Chessy- and her boyfriend, who we'll call Peak. 'See, Chessy loved Peak to the moon and back, but Peak was a bit of a 'skirt chaser' in those days. Chessy couldn't imagine her life without her boy. On the stormy day, Chessy went over to Peak's house to check up on him, and found that he was with another girl when she peeked through a window. Chessy was heartbroken, and she ran away from the house. Peak saw her when she looked through the window, and followed her through the rain, beggin' her to come back to him."

"Chessy ran all the way to the docks, and turned back to Peak when she was on the edge. Now, Chessy was a sweet and quiet girl, but if you got her angry, she was like a stick through a hornet's nest. She gave Peak a tongue lashing, and while she raged on, Peak kept gettin' more and more angry. He finally cracked, sayin' that this wasn't 'all his fault'. He shoved her back, and she fumbled, goin' right over the edge. Peak, who was afraid of gettin' locked up, ran without telling anyone. They never found 'er."

"Now, fast forward a couple weeks later. Peak's got a new girl, and they go out to near the dock. The girl says she has to get somethin' from her house, and Peak gets into the water while waiting for her. When the girl came back though, he was gone. Only thing left of 'im was his shoes that they found on the dock. People say he drowned himself in a fit of madness, but 'ere on the docks, we have a different theory." He chuckled, and you literally felt chills run through your spine.

"Now, there have been sightin's of our Chesapeake ghost. The most common sightin' is at night, when you can see a ghostly greenish glow comin' from underwater. Now, if you've never cheated on anyone, you'll be fine. But if you've been unloyal to someone in 'yer life... let's just say it'd be best to not jump in the pier that night. Others have said they've seen Chessy herself, that she walked right on up to them and asked them directions to her boyfriends house. Those lucky ducks don't realize they've been talking to a ghost 'til they disappear right in front of yer eyes." He ended, with a toothless grin. People around you stood shocked and numb from the story. The old man gave a raspy chuckle, before walking past the crowd, and into a nearby candle shop, humming a small three note tune. You look at your friends, and you friends stare back at you.

"So... anyone else up for a swim in the pier tonight?"

    Image
Kamali is a mean, cruel heartless girl,
who acts like what they say she is. A monster.
She doesn’t show much sympathy, in fact she
shows only what she’s been given. Nothing.
She doesn’t like others very much, but usually
leaves everyone alone as long as they leave her
alone. She is a feisty, stubborn, hate filled girl,
who can and will stop at nothing once she made
up her mind. To those who try and get to know
this female, in her eyes they have a death wish.
She does in fact have a soft spot, she adores
children and would do anything to make them
happy. She loves kids, and any helpless child
left alone would be cared for be herself.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Image
Greatest source of strength
in character's personality:
Is very independent
Kamali is independent, she can do things herself
thus this is a strength in her personality. She
can survive long periods of time without help
from others and can live without others fairly
well. She was independent as a child, though
it has grown to a larger extent being on her own
so long.

Image
Greatest source of weakness
in character's personality:
Has trouble operating with others
Though she is independent, she finds that she
has trouble operating with others or being social
in general. She finds it hard to trust others, thus
working in a group or as a team wouldn't work
for her. She does what she wants and doesn't consider
others in her actions, how they feel or what they are doing,
how they are doing it or anything like that.

1. Use's her hair to look like seaweed underwater to hide from anyone on the surface.
2. Loves to swim in murky, green water.
3. Sharpens claws on the rocks found by the green lake she loves to swim in.
4. Ears allow her to hear better than most, on land as well as in the water.
5. She use's soundwaves and such to hear underwater, sort of like a bat.
Due to this she is able to navigate herself through water without opening her eyes.
6. Overbite didn't grow fully until her teen years.
7. Loves baby animals such as rabbits and fawns.
8 Thin limbs and such were due to lack of food as a child,
though never regain the healthy look after she learned to find her own food.

Image

Image
Kamali was born November 17th, 1993 at 3:55 am.
After the long hours of labor her mother gave
birth to a beautiful daughter with a full head of
teal/green hair. Her eyes were oddly pure white,
and for awhile they assumed her to be blind due to
this, that is until she proved them wrong and showed
them she could see.
Image
Kamali's sexuality is straight, though being away
from other living beings so long she didn't know
at first. It was when she finally gained the courage
to go into a small town for the first time when she
realized she found males attractive, though that
didn't mean she is ready for love. She needs time to
learn to trust others, and find the right person for her.

Image

Image
She is French and Italian on her mothers side,
German and Scotland on her fathers,
though she was born in Scotland while her parents
were traveling, visiting her fathers relatives.
She grew up in Scotland mostly, though her parents
liked to travel the world so she was able to see many
places while growing up.
Image
Scottish accent mostly, as it is where she grew
up so the accent just comes naturally. She is able
to change her voice to sound like a French or
British accent, it is a skill she has practiced with
while visiting those places. Her voice is beautiful,
high pitched and female sounding, but while singing
it sounds like an angel had come. She is able to change
how her tone of voice is while singing, from high to low
to create a perfect sound in which she use's to capture prey.

Image

Image
Image
Kamali has no physical disabilities that limit her movement, thinking, hearing and almost all
her other senses. She gets temporarily blind in sudden bright lights/flashes, might take a
little longer than normal for eyes to adjust to the light. The pupil grows larger to let more
light in when in the dark to help the person see in the dark and grows smaller to let less
light in the help them see in the day time, thus they believe having no pupil cause's
her eyes to be slower when adjusting to the light or recovering from sudden bright
flashes such as fireworks. Due to this, any sudden change of lighting might cause her
to tense up as she might not be able to see as well as normal for only a few moments.

Image

Image
Kamali was homeschooled from an early age
and finished school entirely young as well due
to this. One of her favorite and best subjects
would've been art, as it allowed her to be as
artistic as she wanted and allowed her to express
herself in ways that made her happy.
Image
She never finished associates in art or anything
of the sort, but she did go through a few months
of her associates before she was on her own.
After that she didn't learn anything else from
school and such, but she learned something else
that most don't. She learned to stay alive and care
for herself.

Image

Image
She has a mix of both, her childhood had been filled with reading books, learning and
playing while her teenage years to adulthood has been spent learning streetsmarts, how
to fend for herself, find food and keep herself safe. Of course not many creatures would
go near her at first glance, but she found a use of her voice and use's it for traps. Out
of the two she has more streetsmarts than booksmarts, but that doesn't mean she can't be
proper and well mannered when needed be.

Image
Is this soft spot obvious to others?; I would imagine others could see this love of children
she has, as it she finds it hard to hide when around a child.
If not, how does character hide it?; She tries to act like she doesn't care, like everyone
in the world meant nothing to her. but she finds this hard, as children make her happy
and she has not figured out how to hide such emotions.
Biggest vulnerability: Children would be considered her biggest vulnerability, as when
she see's a child hurt, lost or afraid she lets her guard down and brings the child to the
place she calls home.
Kamali's soft spot is for children, young and old. They are a joy to her, and one of the
few creatures in which gets her sympathy and love. She loves kids and if she found any
lost, hurt and afraid, she'd take them in and care for them as best she could until she
found their parent's. That is if they don't mind the occasional rude comments and stubbornness
that is as strong as a toddlers. She may not be the perfect mother, and frankly she doesn't
doesn't plan to have kids anytime soon, but she is secretly a kind soul and kids just bring
it out. The little troublemakers are amusing to her, and bring her joy that she hasn't felt in ages.

Image
Which of the 7 deadly sins does character fight?: Wrath
Which of the 7 virtues does your character have?: Kindness
Wrath is her deadly sin, it is something she struggles with and hopes she'll one day learn
to control it. She is still working with it, but when angered, and such a thing is easily
done, she can be reckless and cruel and without restraint she might end up hurting
someone.
Kindess is her virtue, it is shown mostly or really only to children and baby animals.
Adults are not as lucky, though she is working with her kindness, for better or worse has
yet to be decided.

Kamali's history isn't one huge sad story where I tell of the bad things that happened to her until you cry, nor is it a story were everything is perfect and happy. No, her history is a mix of the good memories and the bad.

She was born in Scotland about 21 years ago in the early morning. Her parents were thrilled to have a perfectly healthy baby girl, at least until she opened her pure white eyes. They feared and believed she was blind because she had no pupil or color in her eyes at all, and for a while they treated her like she wasn't able to do anything by herself. But she proved she could indeed see overtime, though her eyes had trouble adjusting to the lighting changing too quickly, thus she sometimes couldn't see for short periods of time. So I guess partly blind if you think about it.

Though they loosened up after that, she was an only child she was still spoiled as a child. She lived in Scotland for most of her childhood, sometimes going to other countries and learning about them for a month or so at a time before returning to her home where her family lived. She often visited her grandparents, who lived not far from her. She loved to bake with her grandmother and help her grandfather out in the garden as much as she could. Her neighbors had children, so though she was homeschooled she usually always had a friend to play with. She sometimes was found playing as the monster when they were really little, either she was a great big fiery dragon, a big stinky troll, the monster under your bed, you name it! She would play anything, though she wasn't always an evil monster, sometimes she was a beautiful mermaid, or a princess locked in a tower and other such things.

As she grew older her hair became wavier, she started to grow horns and when her baby teeth fell out her adult ones came in. Though they didn't notice it at first, overtime they learned that though it was really slow, her bottom teeth were still growing. They had no idea when it would stop, but it didn't grow into an overbite until she was a teenager, and only then did it stop growing.

She was a smart child, and being homeschooled she was able to finish school at a fairly early age, she finished high school and was taking classes and such for art. Her parent had decided to move to America only two months after she finished high school. She was excited, nervous and sad. She loved Scotland and knew she would miss it dearly, and part of her didn't want to leave. Though she had traveled from place to place all her live, to her this was home, it’s where she grew up. When she wasn't traveling this was the place she could call home, where she had people who loved and cared for her.

And soon enough she was leaving, saying goodbye to her dear Scotland for the last time. Her parent's said they'd visit, as her grandparents still lived here, but she knew they were planning to move to America as well and thus this was likely the last time she'd be visiting this place for a long time. She had planned to run away and live in Scotland by herself, but she couldn't find it in her to leave her parents. And so there she was walking into the ship that was to take them to America.

It was quite large and new looking, though when she stepped onto the main deck she had a sudden fear of drowning. Of course this wasn't her first time traveling on a ship, she has been on a ship quite a few times in her life. Though this time she felt like it was her first, and every time the boat moved slightly her heart raced before she calmed down and called herself silly. But the thought of how horrible a fate drowning would be haunted her for days, until she had relaxed a bit.

On the fourth day the water looked dark and storm clouds filled the air, there was a chance of a storm, though she hoped the clouds would pass before it started raining. But no such luck. She was only just dozing off when she heard the boom of thunder and the wind and rain outside, startling her and causing her to full wake up. She had been on a ship during a storm before, of course her parents had her stay in the cabin the whole time. After that things seemed to go by in a flash to her, the passengers stayed in their cabins while everyone else was running around working fast. She could hear the sound of their feet outside her cabin and men shouting orders.

Only what seemed like minutes later to her, though it was most likely longer, there were red lights and this loud siren blaring that made it hard to hear anything else. Workers ran through the cabins yelling at everyone, though she only caught the words; lightning, ship, fire and sinking before the man rushed off to the next cabin. That was when she realized that the ship was sinking, she had felt the ship sort of tilt and move unlike it usually does during a storm, but she had brushed it off easily and didn't give it another thought. Now she wished she had. Before she knew it she and her parents were racing towards the deck as fast as they could through the crowd of people, it became difficult to stay together, and a few times she thought she had lost her parents in the crowd before she found them again.

The rain poured on her and everyone else when they got to the deck, soaking them in seconds. She raced to a lifeboat with her family as fast as they could, holding hands so they wouldn't lose each other. She shivered, feeling cold, wet and scared. She wanted to be home in Scotland, sketching out the beautiful landscaping on a warm day. But there wasn't much she could do about it.

Her father held her hand as she was stepping into the lifeboat, she was only halfway in when lightning flashed overhead, blinding her with the sudden bright light. Her wet hand slipped out her fathers and she fell over the side of the ship, hearing her parents yell her name as something hit her head hard as she fell into the icy water, blacking out.

She awoke on a beach, no one or thing around her. It took herself a moment to remember what happened, but when she did she nearly broke down in tears. She had no idea if her parents were alive, how she survived or how she was going to survive by herself.

Over the years she learned to care for herself, how to find food and water and such, though due to her not knowing quite how to survive in the wild by herself at first she grew thin and bony and when she did learn she never seemed to recover from it. Though one good thing seem to come out of it, and dangerous animals were too scared of her to go near her and thus she didn't have much of a problem with them.

She lived along for a few years, learning to survive and after a while she saw another living being. Not an animal, she's seen plenty of those. She saw a person, when she followed him in secret she found that people did indeed live there, only they didn't usually go near where she lived due to the dangerous animals.

Username;; .Joker.
Name;; Siren
Gender;; female
Personality;; Around her animal friends she is very sweet and caring but she acts the exact opposite around other kias. Mean, rude, and selfish. Siren only thinks of herself and does not care if her actions hurt others. Is straight forward with you and not one to lie, unless of course it benefits her. Has a very bad temper and usually loses it over small things.
History;; Sirens mysterious, impulsive, and efficient. But what'd you expect from somebody with her terrible past. She was born and grew up in a lower class family in a developed capital. She lived with her abusive family until she was about 12 years old, but at that point, her life changed drastically. She was constantly bullied about her looks and she finally lost it, getting herself into a fight that quickly escalated out of control. She hit her head pretty badly and lost her memory. Her parents didn't go looking for her, glad that she was gone. Nobody came to get her and after a while the hospital could not keep her any longer. After she was admitted from the hospital she made up a new life since she didn't even know her real past. She was sent to a foster house but ran away. She stowed away on a pirates ship, sneaking of when they docked at the shores of a tropical island. That is now were she lives, tucked away from everyone and surrounded by her new animal friends.
