Username:Captain Cuttlefish, at your service!
Name:I've decided that this girl's name will be Ukushisa.
Though her fur isn't the reddest of reds, it is still a nice shade of it, and her favorite color is red, so she calls herself Ukushisa, which means 'blaze' in Zulu. She does have a real name that was given to her by her parents, but she never uses it. She liked Ukushisa so much better. Uku and Shisa are common nicknames,
Gender:She is indeed a female. She does have a rather tomboyish attitude, but she also loves fashion, so it shouldn't be hard to tell.
Story:Shisa gazed at her reflection in the mirror, fiddling with her mane for a moment. She had just gone out and gotten some fancy new dye for it. Of course, since red is her favorite color, she had originally thought of dying the tips a bright stop sign red color, then burning them... But instead, she figured that a different color would go well with the dark brown mane and her already red fur colors. So instead, she picked out a bright blue color.
Shisa took the dye from the counter, which was in an odd sort of tube that looked like the thing you'd keep frosting in, and took a piece of hair. She began to squirt the stuff down the strand, totally loving the color of it. She set the tube down and rubbed the pasty stuff into the strand so it would have a better effect. Gazing at it for one moment, she smiled at the look so far, then took the tube again. Carefully, she took a slightly larger bit of her mane and did the same thing, repeating the steps with several bits of her mane.
Eventually, she had finished with all that she wanted, and the tube was nearly empty. Shisa set it back down on the counter and stared at the goop in her hair as she waited for a little while for the color to set in. The instructions said that after about five or so minutes, the dye would completely set into her hair, and she'd have some great new blue strands. Excited, she fiddled with some stuff around the bathroom while she waited.
Eventually, the time came for Shisa to rinse off any excess dye from her mane. Carefully, she dipped her head into the sink and turned on the water, flinching ever so slightly as the cold liquid rushed over her head. She scrubbed any extra goop out of her mane and watched it go down the drain. She then lifted her head, turned off the sink, reached for a towel, and then gazed at her reflection in the mirror. Though all of her hair was now soaked, she saw the brilliant blue strands, and she loved the way they looked. Drying her hair carefully, Shisa exited the bathroom with a wide smile on her face, clearly pleased with her work.
