It does not bother heat for being blind because PTP's usually do not have the best sight anyways. For Heat his eyes are his sense of smell and touch. His life goes on like any other regular PTP and if he did have his sight he would be happy but nothing more then that.

thoughts on being blind: most would think they're fine with it - "you were born blind, you're bound to be used to it!" "can't you just use your other senses?" - but honestly, not being able to see angers them quite a bit. everyone's always saying things about how beautiful things are, going on about how pretty their lover is, and kas - they want to see that too. they want to see the glorious mountains and waterfalls, see what they actually look like - "am i beautiful?". and even though people say "there's so much tragedy in the world - i doubt you want to see that", they want to see the tragedy, because they feel like they could do something to help. they often puts themself down for it, saying they're useless without their sense of sight. but no one seems to understand.
