I love the swirling tufts of fur that you can glimpse in the silhouette. I think that they have the potential to be adorable or fierce in their stance and stature. They're also highly unique in the glimpses we've been given of your new species. And they remind me of Chinese Foo dogs, which have always been awesome to me ^^

What do you think of Shians by looking at the silhouette?:
Smart and observant view of the lines (might seem boring): By looking at the lines I wouldn't be surprised if the Shians species was based on a Chinese animal/dog background.Looking closely I can see the the species does in fact have claws (at least on the adult form) and perhaps long ears that curls at the end. Also by looking at the color palette you will probably only use a max of 6 colors for the Shians design including the eye color. Also you can clearly see that it goes through three stages.

Regular non boring view of the silhouette: Wow these look great even though only the silhouettes are visible! They remind me of a tibetan mastiff or lion dogs/foo dogs/guardian dogs as they are more know as and the tail sorta looks like a marshmallow with either flames or smoke coming off of it. The fur looks fluffy or course and airy so I was thinking it could be like clouds that surrounds a shian? Or maybe even something galaxy related? I also like the twist you provided lettiing us guess at what could lye behind the silhouette the opportunity to make our brains actually work during during the summer time.^^ XD

Edit: now that I have taken a second observation of the silhouette the baby silhouette looks as if it might have a rounded beak beak/muzzle so maybe a parrot/dog crossover or maybe even eastern dragon/dog mix?maybe even kirin in dog form? Seeing that it comes from an egg could it even possibly be related to a gryphon and maybe just a fluffier version..but then again it could be Koi dogs with tails full of water XD

Edit 2: (sorry if I am editing to much, I am just getting alot of ides just from the silhouette) I am now thinking that they could be like comet dogs. Like their tails could be like space rock surrounded by fire/mist stuff and their manes could be the same with little asteroid bits in it. Or mana/aura?

What do you think of Shians by looking at the silhouette?: *o* I think they look so fluffy and majestic and totally gorgeous. My first thought by looking at them was that they would have some sort of mist/smoke coming from them? Or maybe it's just ALL fluff! I especially love the adolescent silhouette. I absolutely adore lion-like tails ^^

What do you think of Shians by looking at the silhouette?: They're very faery-esque, elegant yet adorable. Their puffy tails and fluffy, wispy fur is beautiful and fantasy-like, almost otherwordly, and yet they seem cute, kind and compassionate. They're quite beautiful creatures overall, and I would definitely be proud to own one! <3

By looking at the silhouette, I would think that they were somewhat based off of the Chinese dragon dog, something that's very majestic and detailed. Something that took alot of time to draw. And that you put alot of time to draw them in three stages. It looks very original and flowy. Or perhaps it's galaxy based, or maybe smoke related! Whatever it is, it looks like it's going to be amazing! ^^

shians; I think that shians are more flow-y than fluffy, but
they could be fluffy. In fact they look to have a dog/cat-like
anatomy. I think that they will have some sort of a mane or
a form of hair, long curly hair. I think the rest of them will be
smooth and soft like a pillow with a hair like the mane or
tail. I am not going to try to flatter you like some people who
are entering, but I will say if they were an adoptable specie,
I'd have my best coding abilities set forth.

They look a little similar to kiamaras, they look fluffy with nice, soft, smooth, fire-like manes/tails, and I imagine them to look a little similar to Pocky Fluffs~ It sort of looks like it has a dragon- like body, sort of like a JBD. It looks like it could be a mix of a Kiamara and a JBD, but with extra long manes/ tails. It looks like you worked hard, but did really good on them, so when I saw the summer event post I was like 'omg I NEED the first one!' Great job, phoenix! I'm never disappointed in you! You always impress me~
