hi! i'm boris airay. i currently own one plume, and hope to make this gal my second.

ah, her relationships with cats? that is an interesting tale indeed. when she was younger, she was severely allergic to cats. this upset her greatly, considering that her family had all had cat like fur for generations. she couldn't go near cats without getting extremely coughy and sneezy, and well we won't even start with petting cats. she grew older and realized that - hey, her allergy was getting less and less severe! this overjoyed her. she went out one night to the local shelter and adopted a cat that was black and grey and white. she named him jemma. she had previously hated cats due to her allergy. but, caring for jem, she began to realize what wonderful and amazing creatures they are! she now enjoys her little furry lookalikes as much as many others do. her room is now adorned with cat plushes and such, and she eventually adopted another cat, naming her ammi. she quickly became the ultimate cat lady!

clumsy.

cali is quite a character when it comes to being around cats. she watches their every movement as they wiggle and jump. she's quite nurturing as well, so naturally she's very loving to other animals. her favorite animal, of course, is the cat. she says it's her favorite animal because of how fluffy they are. cali doesn't quite understand that when they hiss or strike they're being mean, she just thinks they're playing so she carries on. she hasn't actually been scratched by a cat, so i suppose it's only reasonable that she wouldn't understand when they go into defense mode. she loves that her coloring looks like a calico cat, so of course cali's always standing in front of a mirror. most of the time i have trouble trying to explain to her that she isn't a cat herself, which she chooses to ignore that it's the truth. no matter what she thinks she is, i'll always know she's my little cali. Its relationship with cats:
Kaia doesn't exactly have a soft spot for cats, nor does she absolutely hate them. However, generally she tries to stray away from them if possible, for fear of comparison. As a child, many others would joke around with her by noting how similar she was to them, and that scared her into believing that everyone thought she was a cat. She didn't like being teased about it, and eventually, she stopped telling others that it bothered her since they'd continue on teasing her most of the time.
As she grew older, the comparisons she was receiving began to bother her less and less, although it still didn't make her happy, let alone laugh like they intended. Today, although she still gets comments about how she looks similar to them, they're far fewer in number than when she was younger. And, if she does come across a cat, Kaia won't back away, but she'll be cautious around them. "Admiration from afar", as she always puts it.
