Tavi's passion is to make arrows. Not many people do that, but he thinks it's really interesting. He makes arrows out of thick, oak wood, goose feathers and a stone arrow-head. He finds and makes each part himself then sticks them together with sap or another kind of sticky substance. He doesn't use the arrows for anything specific, but he sometimes gives them away. Most of the time he keeps them as his own treasures. It's an odd hobby to others, but it keeps him calm and happy.
Tavi was always the one to go on adventures and get into trouble. They called him quite the little troublemaker often. He would always get into things he wasn't supposed to like it as some game. He would wander around far beyond his home often as well. He could never sit still in one place for too long or he'd get fidgety. So hyper would be another way to describe him. Although he adventures away, he always came back because he couldn't stand being away from the things he knew well for too long. He grows attached to many things easily, creatures or objects. Tavi was on the creative side compared to everyone else. While they sat, he daydreamed about what he could make. He could make just about anything out of any resource he found.

Tavi has a close relationship with Zuma here. They met one evening when Tavi was exploring the jungle where he lived. He found Zuma when she suddenly fell on him from a tree. They were friends ever since. Both of them go on the same adventures together, as both love to travel the world. They will only separate for a week or two, but they don't leave each other easily.
