He was callled Antarak the Bow. So named because in an alert state he could be as still as a hulking boulder, all four hooves planted firmly, back straight, head high, ears imobile, then suddenly leaping into the air, on the move and where he intended to go in a flash. If you didn't know him, you would think his thickish build for his kind, harkening back to Iberian bloodlines, would make him slow. His larger than average frame, his nearly 16 hands high made him intimidating to face for anyone, him comming down on you with that speed was downright frightening. If he hit you going full tilt, lots of things were going to break and it wasn't going to be him. No one ever wanted to be on his bad side. Despite that he was a gentle giant, a good companion, intelligent, reasonable, a peacemaker, and he brooked no nonsense. His father would have thrown him out at the age of 3 but how did you drive away a son that not only would have been impossible to but helped keep his younger siblings in line? Antarak would have to leave on his own, when he chose to and either join a stallion band or start woeing mares into his own band. At the age of 4 seasons, is was about time.

Reason for the name:Mozambique is an island off the cost of Africa. When I think of Africa I think hot sweltering heat, with rolling grasslands, and deep red clay. Due to this stallions coloration seeming so bright yet flowing well together like the savannah grass in a light breeze. Mozambique is also very rare if used in a noun form. The reason for his nickname being Nzuri its Swahili for 'beautiful' or 'nice' this also ties back to how stunning this stallion is, along with language many native African tribes speak.

Favorite Snack: Nzuri favorite snack is fresh mangos! He loves the sweet taste and texture of them, put them in a salad, curry, salsa, or just by themselves.
Quirk: He has to slosh his water five times before drinking out of it, soaking normally anyone near him. Maybe this comes from finding water sources and attempting to clean them out? Hopefully he'll get out of it!
Favorite Thing To Do: Of course! This pretty boy loves rolling in whatever he can find! Sand, Mud, Grass, and even water!

Personality: This horse is the definition of class. You may not picture him as such but I see Mozambique as a perfect gentlemen. Cool, calm, collected in hand, or just around people. Virtually, perfect in nearly any situation, but yet he does have a wild side when turned out in the paddock! Rearing, Bucking, and showing out to 'impress' anyone who may be watching. Although true to his species he is a bit shy around new things or people, and he is a show off, and has a bit of an ego. That's to be expected though of Nzuri, being the gorgeous horse he is.
