[The Lost Gremlin]

My apologies for taking so long with this one, guys. I didn't mean to drag it out so long x-x
This one was a bit of a toughie to decide...

The wind blew with a cruel force. Nadia yelped as she was thrown off her feet again. Tonight's storm was ferocious, nothing stood a chance. The tall pine tree's great trunk had cracked, destroying Nadia's home. So for now, she was alone.
As she pushed on she thought of warm water, soft beds, and warm arms to cradle her. The wind beat down on her, and she dug her claws into the hard dry soul beneath her.
The sea is not far! she suddenly yelled as she came to the top on yet another hill. I can make it!

Suddenly she slipped on a rock of some sort. She tumbled down a rocky slope for what seemed like forever. Pushing herself up on struggling paws she trudged on. Soon she could smell the salty air, smiling she ran faster. Then she reached the water, jumping in she found protection from the storm.
And she had never slept sounder.

But congratulations to rycia on winning this time. I really enjoyed your little story. Nadia is all yours ^^
