Funny story, actually. He doesn't really think he has a name. Though he did have an official birth name at one time, he's long since forgotten it. In his current state, he calls himself Pyro and insists that his name is Pyralis, which sounds enough like Pyro- and a mixture of a normal name, to pass as somewhat acceptable by society as a 'name'.

Pyro's the name and fire's my game.

Quirky, instinctive, fire-obsessed, delusional, silly, odd, insane, deranged.

Oh here we go with the speeches again.

Personality ;;
Pyralis is a complete pyromaniac. Let's just get that out in the open first. He follows his gut, with little to no room for exceptions- and is content as long as he has something to burn. He likes to do random and sporadic things- and even if he didn't enjoy them, he'd do them anyways. Pyro can be a complete scatter brain, forgetting what he was saying mid sentence or forgetting what he was doing mid action and deciding that, of course, he must've been burning something- and thus he does that instead. He has a lot of odd quirks and kinks that make him particularly odd, such as the fact that he's oddly self-conscious about his looks, and thus prefers to wear things to cover it (like masks, scarves, etc. though his favorite thing to wear to cover his face is hands down a gas mask) whenever possible. Another odd thing about Pyro is his closest friend, Squiddly. Squiddly is the name of the little squid/octopus creature he carries around- despite the fact that he has no idea what it actually is, somewhere in his warped mind he loves it deeply. He's also incredibly delusional. He doesn't think of most of the things he does as causing harm to others, he sees something very, very different. In his mind things are warped and twisted into a lovely rainbow paradise, confetti explodes from defeated foes- lollipops and cotton candy clouds, that sort of thing. He doesn't quite understand what he's doing- but it's obvious that this world in his head is here to comfort him and allow him to remain unscathed from his arsonous ways. He can be hardcore and cool at times too, however- demonstrating cruelty and a hot-headed attitude from time to time, though mostly his true persona is masked by his insanity. Because of his incredible delusions, he doesn't really talk to anyone- nor does he engage in many interactions that don't unintentionally turn to violence and burning victims. To any who believe that Pyro is truly mad- they're without a doubt right.

Ooh! Here comes the fun part!

Weapons of Choice ;;
Pyro's favorite 'playthings' are hatchets, axes and, of course, any sort of tool that produces a flame. He's also a major fan of his bright red flare gun (which despite it's name does not shoot flares to attract attention, so much as it shoots flares to explode things and set them ablaze) and hammers- though hatchets and fire always come first.

What do you mean, Squiddly can't have his own section? Nobody forgets Squiddly!

Companion ;;
Pyro is constantly carrying around a small green squid-like creature. He's not quite sure what it is, but he calls it Squiddly and assumes that it's a male creature. Pyro absolutely loves Squiddly, who has many squid related nicknames. (Even though he looks more like an octopus!) Pyro can be seen without Squiddly at times, and will generally leave him at home if he's going out- to protect his little friend from harm if it were to come to him when Pyro was out on the field. But without a doubt, Squiddly is very near and dear to Pyro's nonexistent heart.

Pyro has an… odd relationship with the rest of his general TF2 team. He sides on the Red team, however depending on the game sometimes ends up on Blue. He personally likes the Red team more though, because their uniforms remind him of fire. The rest of the team, whichever he may be on, seems to fear him without exception. Even the Heavy- who is scared of no mortal man- is deathly afraid of Pyro. Most of the team think he's not even human and are afraid of his brutality- however as mentioned prior Pyro is so incredibly delusional he doesn't perceive their fear. He loves all his friends- even if they may run from him from time to time. Pyro's always had a harder time making friends outside the TF2 team, and thus his closest friend is his pet squid-creature, Squiddly.
