Lamb Ear Leaf
Why?
This is Ariat's favorite leaf... well because he loves everything about it. First off, the soft texture of the leaf makes it a comfy leaf to just stand on. Yes... stand on. It's texture makes it a favorite for others too... but so they can EAT it! Ariat personally likes to just look at them, and see the soft texture. It reminds him exactly like a lamb's ear, which makes it even better! Ariat also likes how they come in a bunch, showing that they stick together. Now, Ariat isn't exactly like the lamb's ear, he is kinda sharp, but that doesn't dull his love for this leaf!

Equid Name: He goes by Jacaranda, but it's obvious he wasn't born with that name. No one knows what his name really is, and it has been rumored that he has long forgotten due to his older age. [A Jacaranda is a tree with purple blossoms that thrives in warm climates. Other forms of the name include Jacarannda, Jacarranda, and Jakaranda.]

Why? Since the moment he first saw the tree's leaves he fell in love with them. They seem a lot more intricate than they really are, which absolutely intrigues him. But even though they look so fragile they are actually very sturdy and can withstand the worst of storms without breaking. He genuinely loves the trees more than anything, and has completely devoted his entire life to raising them and restoring the wildlife that has been destroyed due to large amounts of deforestation. Someday he wishes young equids will continue his gardening efforts, but until then he loves collecting the fallen leaves each autumn. It is said that Jacaranda can tell what tree a leaf came from just by looking at it's veins, as if they were fingerprints, because of how long he has spent living beside them. <33

Why? Riley loves the leaves because they remind him of where he was born. He also loves the points on the edges of the rowan tree leaves. They sometimes tickle his nose. Riley enjoys nature. He loves leaves, but he thinks rowan leaves stand out the most.

Why? Harley can relate to this plant because of his sensitive nature. Just like the plant, he is shy and pulls away when others touch him. He is fascinated by it and enjoys laying near patches of this plants, enjoying their delecate purple flower that is produced.

Why? Well, as you could probably tell, he was named after the Oak Trees. He showed an interest in them from the start, and soon enough he began to collect the beautiful leaves that fell from their branches. His favourites are the autumn leaves, when they just start to turn and cover the ground in whirling flames of yellows, oranges and reds. Little is known to why Oakley loves Oak Leaves so much, and Oak Trees in general, but the fact is that he is who he is, and he just happens to have a passion for them.

Why? Akiko is very traditional. He has always been fascinated with anything from Japan, the place his name originated from. The Japanese painted fern is light in color, and he thinks it is a nice compliment to his dark coat, and his white ties the whole thing together. The fern is often used as ground cover, and he enjoys rolling around in it. Despite the leave's gentle appearance, they are actually quite stiff, and Akiko likes to use it to scratch those hard-to-reach places, or stomp them into soft submission and used as a bed.For my use if I win: AKIKO 晶子, 明子, 秋子 f Japanese From Japanese 晶 (aki) "sparkle", 明 (aki) "bright" or 秋 (aki) "autumn" combined with 子 (ko) "child".

Why? this leaf is his favorite because of the colors design. the falling green on the leaf reminds the stallion of the way a waterfall goes. the pattern starting in the center and then fanning out a like the majesty of fireworks in the dark sky. the leaves are also very big allowing him to tromp around and hide behind them. being the exuberant equid he is it does him a lot of good to be masked behind the elaf coverage so he can jump out and scare a friend.

Why? Mud Splotches likes the Dancing Plant, because he loves to frolic and 'dance' in the meadows! He thinks the Dancing Plant will give him cool grooves that'll make even the stubbornest crack a smile! He likes to explain the Dancing Plant, which goes like this; "Have you ever watched a plant move all by itself? The “dancing plant”, also known as the telegraph plant, actually moves its leaves in jerky motions when exposed to direct sunlight, warmth or vibration – hence their reaction to music. Moss leaves
Why?
He likes the leaf of the moss plant, because moss is so often regarded as a very simple thing, yet if you take a closer look, entire worlds can be found with it. Moss hosts an amazing amount of microbes and can take years to regrow if destroyed. For some reason though, people still like to disregard it as 'just moss', but not him. He likes to slow down and take a closer look at things, and because of it he finds out the hidden truth in things.
