What is her/his favorite way to pass time? Candi loves her chick-flicks. She has seen her favorite movie with the friends like 500000 times. She has all the words memorized as she watched the movie she mouthes the words and tears up as her favorite love scene comes.

Story:

Candi has just woken up, she looked over at her clock and saw it was 10:42. Her heart began to beat faster, and faster. Candi was late for school. She jumped out of bed and rand to her closet, pulled on her favorite outfit and ran to the door. When she got to her school it was empty.

Candi looked around confused. It was quiet, almost too quiet. She looked at the ground concerned about what was wrong. She turned around walking slowly home, head hung low and eyes welling up with tears. While she was walking home, she noticed something on the ground. Candi sniffed this strange.. "thing". At once Candi knew it was a piece of bubble gum, her favorite flavor actually, watermelon.

Then it hit her! Everyone was at the town hall for the opening of the new bubble gum shop, Bubble Blitz. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her, when she finally arrived she was heaving for breath panting. Good thing she made it when she did because they where about to draw the raffle to see who the first employee would be.

Candi had worked so hard to fill out her job application but it looked like many others had too. The mayor reached his hoof and pulled out a single card. Candi held her breath, waiting..waiting, for what seemed and eternity. The mayer walked over to the microphone paper in hoof and read off the Name: "Congratulations to.. Jupiter"

Candi's heart sank, she loved nothing more than bubble gum and felt awful that she could't make her dream come true. She looked around, and she couldn't see Jupiter anywhere. The mayors voice rang over "Jupiter some on up here." He smiled. Candi looked around, as did everyone else, but Jupiter was no where to be found. The mayor began to speak again "Because Jupiter.. is not here, we will have to.." An awkward pause then came and a new hope flooded over Candi. "Find a new employee" the mayor Finished. Right after he hopped over to the bucket and drew a new piece of paper, held his head high and spoke "Congratulations to.. Candi!"

Candi's heart pounded in her chest. "Me, me?" She thought as she awkwardly walked up on stage. Right at that moment Jupiter came running up on stage. "Sorry" jupiter prompted. "I didn't mean to miss the ceremony, I had slept in and my friend texted me asking me where i was" Candi looked at him with wide eyes. The mayor looked at them both and said "Well if you both want employee still, you will both have to make a flavor of bubble gum, and the deer with the best flavor gets to be the new employee"

Candi nodded slowly. So did Jupiter, they both walked off of the stage and to the restraint. When they arrived the owner was there to greet them "Hi, Im Calvin he said kindly, I will be judging your bubble gum and deciding which one of you will become my first employee." Calvin then rambled on about how the tools worked and what flavors we should never put together. Then all of a sudden Calvin shouted "GO!" Candi snapped back into reality. What had happened? Had the contest started? What flavors didn't go well together?

With no other option Candi raced towards the fresh fruit and the other supplies she needed. Throwing a little bit of this and a little bit of that in the bowl and mixing it together. It had made a perfect gum substance. She dipped her hoof in the bubble gum and tasted it. It was absolutely awful! Candi felt fresh panic wash over her as she looked at the clock and only had 10 minutes of the hour that she had started with left. She began to feel her eyes well up with tears. There was no controlling herself now, her dream had been crushed and she had had enough. She sat down on the ground, looked at the ground and tears rolled down her face.

Calvin noticed that she was in distress and walked over to her. "There is still time, you can make a new flavor. Jupiter still hasnt finished his, why don't you start a new one and see how it tunrns out?" Candi nodded and stood up, sniffled her nose and got back to work, she threw in passion fruit flavoring with some sugar and other important ingredients needed to make bubble gum. She looked at the clock and noticed she only have 10 seconds left, she began to stir faster and faster. The clock was sayng "10, 9, 8 , 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 , 2, 1. Times up" The clock blared

Candi looked down at her mixture with pride, it looked and smelled good. Then it it her, she had not tasted it yet. Calvin went over and grabbed both bowls. and reached a hoof in and took a bite of Jupiter's mixture. "Delicious" he said chewing it then spitting it out.
Calvin then grabbed a bite of Candi's mixture. Of what seemed like an eternity he chewed her gum. "Exquisite" he said not taking the gum out of his mouth. "Candi your the winner" Candis heart pounded with speechless joy, she looked over and Jupiter and he was nodding his head angrily, he then shouted "I didn't want this job anyways" and she stormed off

Candi nodded her head and said "Thanks" and she smiled Calvin looked at her with pride "What do you want to name this gum, its so good we should add it to the menu" Candi thought to herself for a moment then answered smiling "Passion Blast"
