Indigo/Indy

Personality-
Now, many people say draft horses are gentle giants, and they're right! But Indy doesn't like to get pushed around just because she's friendly. She has a fierce side and isn't afraid to show it. She can be sarcastic but that just comes with bein' Indy.
Indy was named partly because of her tenacity to explore - Like Indiana Jones. Any nook or cranny, any unexplored field, she's there. She has a job to do but that doesn't stop her having fun!
Overall she's a lovable character with a tendency to push her luck a little. She is strong and proud, pulling the huge cart with her friends, and she loves every moment of her fun filled life - that's Indy for you!
History-
The men stood with anticipation as they watched their mare give birth. Questions rolled around their head - who is the mystery sire? What colour would it be?
They spoke calmly to the large horse and soon the foal was born. not needing any attention from the vet, the mother helped the baby in it's few minutes of life. The men - stable hands, managers, owners, all looked at each other before looking back at the foal. The owner of Lady - the mare - wandered slowly, cautiously into the stable. He 'shushed' and patted Lady, turning to the foal. He carefully stroked it as it squeaked and looked at the men. '' Definitely a roan. Blue'' he said with a slight smile. This was not what they expected, and the Budweiser Clydesdale's are all chestnut or at least bay. Who was the mystery stallion, and what should they do with the pretty mare?
After a little 'meeting' the next day, Lady's owner had decided he wanted to keep her first foal. He asked if the foal could one day be a Budweiser Clydesdale, and the owner of the yard reluctantly agreed after half an hour of battle.
John (Lady's owner) was in the tack room later that day to find Lady's head collar when he heard a grunt behind him. Indigo, who currently wasn't named, stood on wobbly legs at the door. With the light that shafted down she turned a shade of indigo. '' You should be called Indiana'' he said to the small foal, slipping a halter over it's tiny but dignified head '' It sounds to... manly. How about... INDIGO!'' he yelped with a eureka moment. After that he rushed Indy back to the escaped-from stall and reassured the mother with a grin.
