As both his show name and barn name imply-Narcissus is EXTREMELY full of himself. He has to be the center of attention, He demands it! If he isn't the center of attention- there's bound to be an issue. Whether its a nip or a nudge, or a full on body check-
He WILL get your attention. He's A perfect parade horse. All those cheering people, all the waving hands, the clapping, whistling, oohing and ahhing over his flashy coat and fantastic prance and tack- YEs. A parade horse is the best occupation for this fellow.
He loves being by the river near his home- and he's even got a little Mirror in his stall!
History
Narcissus was born in some rundown place. And Though his mother Loved him with all her heart - The masters of the place weren't too fond of him. They couldn't afford another horse- especially not a young stud colt. He was sold to a man who was a bit more well off- and grew up in a fantastic place. plenty of food and water, and much more space than any young horse knew what to do with.
But he grew up alone. The man who purchased him did so for something to look at, not something to ride and take places . Just something to keep himself company. As you can imagine- breaking Narcissus was a huge battle. He grew up alone - the only other equine interaction he got was from himself. Granted- When he was young he thought it was just some other strange foal playing with him in the water. When he grew old enough to understand- well. the damage was done. He was his own best friend. He had to be, of course. Any interaction with people was also limited-until he was broke, that is- so anytime anything came around he had to be right there at it- right in the middle of whatever it was' attention.
