Name:Digit
Gender:Female
Accessory:She has two. The first one is a vial filled with exactly 3.14 milliliters of a blue liquid tied around her tail. The other is a string of Pi Beads strung around her neck (we made them in math class last year on Pi day). Each colored bead represents a different digit, and you string as many as you can onto a long piece of string, making Pi out of the different colored beads. She also has a pair of blue glasses, but just because she can't really see without them.
Here's what Pi Beads look like Here are her accessories:
(Sorry for the quality; I'm not really used to drawing things like this...)
If this bean were a pie, what flavor?Mango pie. It exists...yum...
1 Extra:Err...Hi. I'm Digit, and Raven told me I had to say hello. So while she tells you about what I'm like, I'm gonna get back to my books, if you don't mind.Book LoverDigit has a huge collection of books that she treasures dearly. While many of them are scientific reference books, she also loves to read fiction. Her favorite books of her collection are Life of Pi and a collection of encyclopedias. She has never donated or thrown away a book because she loves them all too much, but she will let other Beans into her library to read.
FlightyDigit may seem scholarly at first sight, but she is actually really easily distracted. She will be distracted by the littlest of things, from a quarter on the ground to the birds singing outside. She also has a terrible procrastination problem. She will put something off until an hour before it's do because she says she works well under pressure. But if you ask anyone else, it's just because she hates to work.
ShyDigit doesn't make friends easily. She often has trouble keeping her attention on another person, and even when she can, she often deems them too boring. If someone can't keep up with her thoughts, she leaves them behind. Because of this, she often spends lots of time locked away in her library, browsing through her books rather than talking to others. After all, book characters aren't boring.
FunnyBut once you get past her hard-to-decphyer exterior, Digit is quite hilarious. Her flighty nature makes her humorous, and she loves to make others laugh. Whether it's telling a joke she heard in a book or amusing others by being distracted, Digit is always making others smile. She also has a bit of a thing for slapstick comedy...hide the pies.
SmartDespite her flighty nature, Digit is still extremely smart. Probably from all the books she reads, but Digit can still list off facts like they are just numbers. She has memorized pi to the 5,000 digit, and is working on memorizing the number even more. She can amaze with her incredible book smarts, and has done so in the past. Whether it's being able to bind up a wound with nothing but a piece of paper or how to navigate the deepest of forests, Digit has proved time and time again that book smarts can still be helpful in dire situations.
