Silver: A very intense color, silver installs strength and energy into an individual. The color silver can prove to show strength as well as sterility, resembling and attaching this color to the use of knives and syringes. Cutting, but aiding. Not intentionally trying to use it's stength to bad use.

Black: While initially the first thought is the Black Death/Bubonic Plague which killed thousands and thousands of people, black can also symbolize the use of leeches in cleansing blood technique. Personally, I very much associate the color black with being unconscious, seeing as I have not only been under anesthesia before, but also I have experienced being in an un/subconscious comatose state for a period of time. I also associate it specifically with the disease Epidermolysis bullosa because when I was 6 my closest cousin passed away of the menacing genetic disorder which causes painful scabs of black on the skin. Poor girl, she lived with pain and suffering (also black can be considered as such), and she passed away on a July 4th, which to me symbolizes her independence from the black scabs which caused her so much pain.
White: Doctors and researchers in the medical field wear white lab coats and doctor's coats, while white also has a sense of cleanliness and purity. Hence, many hospital rooms are white and many surgical rooms are white as well, particularly in the hospital where I volunteer. However, I can also affirm that white is the color the dead's skin turns- nothing truly prepares you for seeing someone dead. Nothing, even if it is a stranger, I tell you.
Red: Going back to the bubonic plague, people used to paint red crosses on the doors of the houses with infected people. Blood comes to mind, as well as life. Donating blood can save a patient, and I've seen it happen before my own eyes. Red, particularly in the hospital setting, means the flash between life and death- after once running to answer a patient's ringing bell I saw the patient bleeding profusely enough to die of significant blood loss. Something so red, so simple, yet so necessary in a person.

My apologies for writing so much. Medicinal work/hospital work has a lot to do with my family/life in general.

Black: When I think of black being health related, I think of sleep. Sleep is the thing that heals and rests both the body and the mind in any living creature here on earth. I am not sure about you, but when I sleep, my room has to be completely dark, and there has to be a heavy blanket over my eyes to make sure all is one hundred percent black, or else I can't sleep. Darkness and sleep go hand in hand, no?
White: When I think of the color white, I think of cleanliness. Cleanliness keeps a person healthy; may it be keeping your home clean, your emotional self pure, or making good decisions. Feeling good makes your health good, as well. It causes less stress to feel good about your surroundings and what you yourself are doing in life.
Red: The color red reminds me simply of the health cross sign. Found in hospitals, ambulances, etc. Of course, it could always remind you of something else.... Like the color of blood. However, even if it is blood, blood can be a good thing for people who need it for medical conditions, right? ^^'
