Personality
Max has quite a personality. He's a friendly ol' horse with a heart as big as the world. Max is a gentle giant from the smallest mouse to the largest of animals. He treats each one with kindhearted words. He has not a single bad bone in his large body. He's anyone's friend. Max might seem upset at times but that is just from his past owner leaving him alone and not coming back for him. Though even on his worst days this boy will still cheer someone up even if he can't brighten his own day. Max does fit his friendly nature each time when he spikes up a conversation or cheer up someone.

Likes
Max has some likes alright. Firstly, this big boy loves oceans. He thinks they're relaxing and entertaining when he sees humans surfing. It earns him a soft laugh though when one does a funny trick. Max also loves food! He loves any kind of food horses can have. He loves apples, sugar cubes, carrots, oats, grain, sweet feed, grass, hay, everything! Whether he's never tried it before or has he'll eat it in a heartbeat. Next Max loves clouds. He enjoys rolling onto his back in the pasture with a friend and pointing out different shapes in the clouds. To him cloud watching makes him stress free and helps him blow off steam if he's had a rough day.

Dislikes
Oh yes, Max has some dislikes. This boy hates loud things. It annoys him and hurts his ears. He's never been much on loud music or loud car horns. It spooks him and he doesn't understand where it's coming from. Another thing Max doesn't like much pushy horses. He's never been much of a horse to be pressured into doing something. This boy also doesn't like bullies. Who doesn't like them? They're mean creatures to everyone. Lastly, Max dislikes stormy weather. If it's storming then he can't go to the ocean side to watch the waves.

Future Mate/Crush
Max's future mate would have to be my newest mare One Lucky Clover, Luck, for short. She might be sassy and different but she fits right for him. Max can open her bitter heart and break open her shell with his kindness. They might be opposites but you know what they say; opposites attract.

Discipline
Max takes pride in being a proud western stallion. He's the best at western pleasure and barrel racing. He's quite quick and knows how to easily weave around.

Best at
Max is great at barrel racing and western pleasure.

Bad at
Max is particularly bad at cutting and roping. He just doesn't have the coordination to go after the cattle quick enough. He's quite not the best at those for that reason.

Birthday
Max was born on May 16th at 5:19pm to his stud, Breaking through a Lost Land, and his dam, Ocean Breezes.

Adventure Story
Finding the Golden Mare when a Foal

Oh I remember when I was young colt back in the golden years. My mother used to tell me of this golden mare called Golden Promises. She was supposedly a palomino with chestnut eyes. I remember finding her with my friends. So you would like to know huh? Oh well I'll tell ya!

It was a nice summer evening in July when my friend Bolt had found a map in the forest. I was about eight months, still close to my mother. I looked over to see the black colt galloping over with the map to the legendary mare. I slowly got to my hooves as I looked at my friend, "Woah Bolt what did you find?"

"I found a map Max! It's some kind of map to treasure! Maybe it's food or something else," the cheery colt answered and dropped it at my hooves.

I leaned down and examined the papery thing that was called a map, "Woah this is a map to that cool mare my mama always tells me stories about. Her name is Golden Promises. She's supposed to give you wishes if you ever find her."

Bolt smiled eagerly then nudged me with his head after grabbing the map, "Come on let's go find her Max!"

The two of us set off on our adventure. I took the lead with a happy spirited canter. The first stop we had was the forest behind the stables. It wasn't much but it was creepy. I flicked my ears as we walked, checking the map Bolt held in his teeth every few moments. I stumbled every now and then but eventually got my footing to continue on with Bolt. We soon had approached the waterfall, our second stop.

Bolt cautiously walked with me, careful as we climbed up the pathway. I stopped at the top to look around to find the valley. Bolt soon found it and we took off towards it. I lagged behind but soon caught up after a matter of minutes. Eventually we soon got to the large grassland where a mare stood grazing on grass. She was a beautiful horse with a long flowing golden mane and that palomino coat glossy.

"Are you the Golden Mare?" Bolt asked quietly as we approached her.

The mare lifted her head with a soft giggle, "Me? The Golden mare? Oh you colts these days. There's no such thing as a Golden Mare dear. I'm Golden Promises. Horses just call me the Golden Mare because of so many awards I have won and how my pelt shines. Dreariest colts I am no magic horse."

We both tilted our heads and said in unison, "What? We came all this way for nothing?!"

"No you didn't young ones. You earned courage and intelligence. No colts or fillies have ever had the courage to go to the darkest forest, climb up the tall waterfall, gallop through a valley full of predators, or came to this grassland to find me. You two have earned quite the prize."

We both nodded, hiding back our disappointment. We slowly walked off the way we came to go home. I turned and looked back at the Golden Mare who was seen through then vanished into thin air with a sweet whinny. My eyes went wide but I shown no fear for I knew the Golden Mare was not magic but a ghost of pure bliss and happiness. All she was, was a mare who gave the greatest gifts to me. Intelligence and courage for I sure used them in my life.

History
Max was born on the 16th of May at 5:19pm to his two parents. Max grew up well in his home in California. The colt was adventurous and rather hyper. He was always on an adventure, running through fields or chasing his friends he found a way to have an adventure. This brightened his spirits and he found his joy. Max was sold to a farm in Texas as the age of a year. The young boy took to his new family right away. He was quite ready for a new adventure and what's better than going to a new home?

At his new home Max met many other mares and stallions. He knew how to cheer them up and bring them joy in his life. When Max was sold to another home at the age of three his friends were saddened and lost their joy. The stable became gloomy while Max was given to a home in Kentucky. He wasn't quite the best and was used quite incorrectly. His joy drained and Max himself lost hope in finding a better master. It shrunk his large heart and he worked without protest opened if he shown as little as a halt a whip would hit his hind quarters.

Max was sold off in a fair to his final owner at the age of six. Max slowly made his way down the road of recovery with his new friends. The cows, horses, and other animals helped him grow to be the best. Max met many new friends and shown he could bring his joy to any stable but leave them depressed for his beautiful friendly nature kept everyone going.

Theme Song
Max's theme song would have to be Every Storm Runs out of Rain by Gary Allen
Max has a shattering history which is his storm but when he ends at his newest home his storm has finally run out of rain to open up into a beautiful sky.

Best Friend
Max's best friend is a little chocolate lab named Cocoa. He met this dog when he first came to the stables and he stuck by him like glue.

Her Mate: I have decided that Fizz's mate is to be Past. I do feel that they complement each other beautifully, and I put some thought into who would be best. I didn't want her to have a mate with outrageous colors, at least not currently. So I have her Past, who although gorgeous, is a bit simpler and well-fit for Fizz's quirky, energetic personality.
