I'm Tao! I have a lot of other names, though.

Tao has more nicknames than a peach tree has blossoms. He is called Tao-Tao, Little Peach, PDP or Prince Death Peach, and sometimes Gibao, Peachfuzz, Nectarine, Ninja (because of Fruit Ninja and his relatives), Shadow, Peach Blossom, and Fuse (for his temper). Occasionally he is nicknamed Skitz or Double-Standard because of his two personalities. He honestly answers to just about anything, though.

Oh, don't listen to him, he has no idea what he's talking about. I am Prince Death Peach, and will be called by nothing else.

Personality

Tao, the Little Peach

Tao is very shy and has a loving but guarded heart; much like his fathers, he tends to steer clear of unfamiliar beans, but he clings to loved ones. He often watches goings-on from the shadowy sidelines, keeping out of sight of the odd glances he typically gets from others. He does, however, like to follow beans around without their knowing, a habit earning him the nickname Shadow. Tao also loves to be outside, just enjoying nature at its best; he has a favorite spot beneath a peach tree where he goes to just be alone. Because of his habit of avoiding pretty much everybean, Tao is very close to his family, especially his fathers, and is usually seen following one or the other around. He is fiercely independent when he needs to be, but he would rather bask in his family's love. Normally, Tao is rather quiet--he tries to keep his mouth shut, for he tends to say the first thing that comes to his mind. He also is very easily embarrassed, like Bao; he has a rather low self-esteem; and he is sure he doesn't deserve compliments, often just staring at his feet when he receives one.

There is one question everyone asks--why is one of Tao's nicknames Prince Death Peach? The answer is simple--PDP is a duel personality. While Tao is a shy, sweet bean, Prince is the exact opposite--he is prideful, looks down on others, and refuses anything except his way, which is a bit like Giro. He orders everybean around, expecting to be treated like the prince he is; he is a conniving bean, often plotting some clever scheme for something; and he loves to be praised. PDP hates rebellion, and, more importantly, hates Tao, but he always keeps his cool--or, at least, he tries. Mentioning his faults or his better personality sets him off like a bottlerocket--another trait gained from Bao--however, he usually just punishes beans at random, whether they have ever spoken to him or not. Prince Death Peach is basically a mindless and entirely selfish bean--but don't tell him that.

Closest in Spirit
Giroro and Tao are certainly the closest in personality. Tao tries not to show emotion unless he interacts with loved beans, and really just wants to be loved and accepted more than anything else. Unfortunately, Tao also picked up Giro's temper along with Bao's social awkwardness. He is quite the stubborn little bean, and is very defensive--Tao isn't one to pick a fight, but if he overhears anything negative about himself or a bean he cares for, he will quickly fluff up and prepare himself to kill somebean.
Needless to say, Tao's emotions are very strong, and are often too well expressed.

Family Relationships

Giroro;;
While Tao is close to both of his fathers, he is more drawn to Giro, mainly because of their similar personalities. Tao usually turns to Giro for help or just for an adventure, and will watch Giro's every move so as to become more like him. "Gee" just seems to understand Tao better, or so the little bean thinks.
Bao;;
Bao usually isn't much help to Tao, as they share weaknesses--thus, Tao can't exactly ask Bao how to deal with being embarrassed or saying the wrong things. This is not to say that father and son don't get along; Tao is very clingy around Bao, and has a tendency to stick to his father's legs or tail like a magnet. Of course, Bao doesn't always appreciate this, but what does Tao care?
Ronnie;;
"Row-ny," as Tao calls her, is the first bean Tao looks to for fun. He loves spending the day outside with his sister, typically taking an afternoon romp to Tao's favorite peach tree. He is fascinated by her shoelace accessories, and will sometimes taunt her by trying to steal them.

Keroro;;
Tao, or Little Peach, as his uncle calls him, absolutely adores Keroro. If Tao is feeling particularly down or has gotten one too many odd looks, he turns immediately to "Uncle Roro" for advice or a game of Sorry.
Wispa;;
Tao isn't ever quite sure what to do with his "Auntie Wisp," but he appreciates her care for him. It seems like whenever Tao is in trouble or needs something, Wispa will be right there to hand him a useful tool. If nothing else, Tao tries to be mindful of Wispa's organization and apply it to his own space.
Chord, Haiku, Warp, and Sir Unnamed Cousin;;
Cousins are one of the best things in the world, Tao is certain. He loves to play with them and picks up useful tips from them. He learns everything he can--manners from Chord, optimism from Haiku, and--well, he doesn't know Warp very well. Tao does, however, love his youngest cousin, and often has play fights with him.

Bubblegum, Jagger, and Ezio;;
As far as extended family goes, Tao isn't very familiar with them. He has met Jagger's family only once before, and couldn't pick up a good impression of them, though he did notice that Bubblegum is pretty and Ezio would likely make for a good best friend and cousin.
Nightshade;;
Tao hasn't spent much time with Nightshade, either--which is probably a good thing--but he nonetheless holds the dark bean in a high place. The two have met only a time or two before, but Tao is convinced he could learn a lot from "Shade," like self-defense and the art of being cool and mysterious.
Yami;;
Yami and Tao have never met, but the name has crossed Tao's path. Tao wonders about the mysterious bean, and how much like the rest of the family he could be.
