Dixie

Dixie is just such a beautiful name, and the wind swirls reminded me of "Winne Dixie" (the movie about the dog). And I love that movie, it's emotional and beautiful and will make you love your dog even more! Even though mutatoes are cat-like.

I think the best thing about winter is the hot chocolate, cuddling, and staying nice and cozy and warm inside the house. Though of course, there is having snowball fights and tobogganing and building snowmen in the snow as well! Also snow angels. I just really love winter okay.

Hello there, fellow ChickenSmoothians! My username is Captain Greenleaf, but you probably know me better by the names Greenleaf, Green, or Legolas. I shall be trying out for this lovely mutato here. Thanks in advance for this opportunity!

I had to think about it for some time, but I have finally decided; if this little sweetie could be mine, I would give her the name Meleth, or Mel for short.
Now, you're probably wondering why I'd give her such a name. The name Meleth is actually the direct translation of the English word 'love' into another language called Sindarin. Sindarin is one of the major forms of Elvish, a language that was created by the professor JRR Tolkien for the book series Lord of the Rings.
This is, most obviously, a wintry mutato. The reasons why I associate winter with love can be found in the next point below.


Eep. Winter is one of my favorite seasons! I love almost everything about it; the fresh, crisp air after a snowfall, the snow itself, and Christmas. But if I do have to choose one thing, my favorite thing about winter would be the infectious love that occurs during the holidays.
"Why?" you are probably asking. But hey, deep within even the hardest heart, we all crave love. Winter means Christmas, and Christmas is a time for love. We get together, all the families, relatives, and close friends, and we celebrate. Its a time to set aside differences, problems, and grudges, and simply honor the holidays together. Isn't that what Christmas is truly for?

Meleth is a quiet, shy, and rather reserved mutato. While most of her friends enjoy frolicking out on the soccer field, you can find Meleth curled up with a good story in the shade of a tree. She is an introvert, usually preferring the company of her books than the company of others. However, that doesn't mean Meleth is entirely antisocial! she has many friends and loves her family dearly.

Meleth has quite the gift for creativity. She has a huge imagination and has been making up stories from a really young age and often finds herself lost in her own world; though this can come at a disadvantage if she is found daydreaming rather than doing her chores. :P She was born with a thoughtful mind, and can ponder things for hours on end if left uninterrupted.

She also has a thirst for knowledge, and is therefore very curious. She likes researching on topics that interest her, and as a result as a huge bundle of random pieces of information stored in her brain as a result of her wanderings.

One thing that she truly loves is the season winter, especially the holiday Christmas. For some, Christmas is a time for massive wishlist making with toys, presents, and gifts, but for Meleth, it is also a time of love, to get together with family and friends.

Reason for choosing the name: The snowing background of the Mutato reminds me of snow, but I wanted a more unique name, so I chose Icicle.
What's the best thing with winter?: The best thing for me about winter is making snowmen, Christmas, and snow forts, and for Icicle, she likes making snow forts and burying herself in the snow!
Why does this Mutato think there is snow?: Icicle thinks that there is snow because the leaves on the trees can't live forever, so when they fall, she thinks that snow goes perfectly with the fallen leaves. And that it looks really pretty with snow everywhere.

Yuki



Yuki is a Japanese name, and I found it means happiness and also means snow, so I thought it was very fitting. I also love short names with not very many letters. If he needed a nickname, I would call him Ki, because that sounds adorable. I like names that make sense and tell something about who the name is on.



I absolutely love the cold. I know, most people find that crazy. I'm not masochistic or anything like that, I just really love being able to cuddle with my dog and drink some hot chocolate and maybe have a cookie or two. Getting warm is a really nice process and I just love cuddling with my dog xD Fuzzy socks and fuzzy blankets are awesome.

I would like to name her Hiver because...

I would like this mutato to be named Hiver, because it is french for winter and looking at these two picture i thought winter was the right name for both of them. and the french part was because i love french.

well i was born in winter so im a winter baby, im use to the cold and i think there are more activities in winter than in summer. but my favorite has to be waking up on Christmas day to find that Santa has always granted my wish of snow!(I live in a northern state)and not just sticky snow (snow that sticks to the grass and sidewalk) but deep snow. snow i can play with all day! Because i love making igloos and playing inside and outside of them.
