The nickname Pumpkin comes from her orange Pumpkin Spice flavored markings that tend to take over the flavor of her Waffle cone hooves as well.

Some think because of her horns that she is a lesbian, and have even gone as far as calling her a she-male and purposely calling her a male. Clumsy horns is her most common nickname among others for the simple fact that she tends to live up to it. She's clumsy, and sometimes gets her horns stuck in branches. Others have noticed this and call her out on it.

Female, despite her horns. No one knows why she grew horns other than assuming that her genetics somehow crossed. She is completely female, just a female with horns. She does get picked on for this, but she sees this more as a advantage rather than male. Most females are portrayed as fragile creatures that should be treated with respect, whereas she feels that it gives her a "strong" appearance that most females don't have. Everyone sees her as a strong female who can handle her own problems and pull her own weight. She refuses to let others see her weak, or venerable. She holds her head up high in front of others and won't tolerate anyone picking on another Deerssert, or friend of hers. She's been known to lash out at them and charge head-on with her antlers pointing dead forward and won't slow down even when, or if, you jump out of the way. She'll charge you completely away from the victim as she knows what it feels like to be constantly picked on and made fun of. She holds up her strong image by her determination and will to never give up and move on, even when it feels like no one is there for you, never give up and keep moving on. They're will always be plenty of better opportunities and better chances waiting for you. October doesn't like when others try to help her, so she pushes on on her own. She won't accept sympathy, and finds it easier this way. She thinks that if she lets anyone show her sympathy that she'll lose her strong image and become a weak female like the rest. She somewhat likes being different. It lets her know that not everyone is the same. <3

Most see October as free, being carefree. Which eventually adds up to her being strong. She tries not to have any emotional attachments, she's afraid that someone will try to act all buddy buddy and then turn right back around and laugh in her face. So she portrays herself with the image of "I don't really give a damn." So far, this has served her well, and almost no one gets to see passed this image she has portrayed herself as, and she prefers it this way. She feels that if she shows a carefree attitude the jokes will someday stop and other Deersserts will quit picking on her, and hopefully gain some true friends. As of now, she still lies low and refuses to show her true self. The same goes for flirting, she's afraid to get close to anyone because she's afraid they'll act like her friends, and then just find her when she's weak and kick her while she's down. She does try to be nice to others, but that doesn't mean she's friends with them. She prefers to call them her acquaintances. By free, she's also a traveler. She loves to explore and might be gone for two or three days, the longest being two weeks. She typically travels on her own, but she does like company every once in awhile. She doesn't normally tell you no if you tag along, but if your some weirdo she won't hesitate to tell you to turn back around an go back where you came from.
Fearless;;
October portrays a fearless attitude to show that nothing bothers her and she'll charge into any situation head strong without hesitation and won't show if she regrets it or not. She feels as if she shows that she won't give in that it won't give anyone else that satisfaction of her lose. Sometimes she feels as if everyone is just waiting for her to fail and laugh at her when she's down. Therefor, she just doesn't give them the chance to see her when she's vulnerable. She acts fearless with everything she does in front of others. There was a moment when she let everyone and everything get to her, except she actually showed it. Everyone took their fait share of laughs and it hurt her. It hurt her so deeply, that she changed her social outlook on everything. She turned fearless, agreeable, strong, free, and learned not to let others see the true her. Otherwise, it would be her childhood all over again. There are very few Deersserts that look up to her for her ability to adapt to others expectations, and this she loves. She'll even show off a little if she feels the time is right or it's okay to do so. Such as;; Laughing along when someone pokes fun, strutting in front of her "haters", and helping others when she can. Not to say she doesn't like to help others, because she does, but it's mostly to show off more than anything. Just to prove herself to others basically.
