Shere-Khan is his name. Shere-Khan is a fictional tiger in the movie "Jungle Book." I thought it fit him, not only of his stripes, but his personality! His only nickname is Khan, as he despises to be called Shere.

the reason why he loves Lux Tux ;;

Khan treasures his teddy bear because he has always had it. Through peace or war, it's always been by his side. What drew him ever so closer to it, though, is when he ran away. He packed up a small bag when he was about 7, but when he had one foot out the window he looked back. There he saw his teddy bear, looking forlorn. Khan couldn't help but grab Lux Tux, since he had already loved his bear. However... running away with his one dearest item only brought them closer; still to this day, he loves his teddy bear. It's been about ten years, and although his bear is a bit scuffed up, Khan still has Lux Tux.

but the instrumental is genius, and jace simply adores it. he hums the tune
day on && day off.

originally, i was going to say because he found it in
his grandmother's attic.

so, here's my real answer.

jace was just settling into his new apartment.
it had been professionally unpacked for him because he was feeling sick.
he was laying on the couch, flipping through his newly installed
television channels. then he noticed something in the corner of his eye.
it was tucked into a mouse hole, what he could see. what could it
be? he had made sure there were no rats or mice when he had come
to view the place.
he went over to the hole.
what he saw greatly confused him. it was the corner of something flat.
it was thin and sharply pointed.
he dug at his wall for hours, bruising his right front paw.
when he finally pulled out the album, he was still confused.
in thin calligraphy he saw cherish it. written on the front. what even...
he thought. he was scared, worried someone was in his home.
so he cherished it, made sure it was safe.
and he just grew found of it over the years.
now he loves it.

He was named cheshire by mother when she saw how curious he was a a young jmd, his father had wanted him to be daniel but he finally gave in affter his mother kept asking and pleeding. He wears a amethyst necklace on a golden chain, it was given to him by his mother, who sadly passed away from cancer. He wears it everywhere, so it can remind him of his Happy, energetic, and kind mother. Some nights he will clutch it in his paws and speak to it hoping that somewhere she can hear.

The reason;;
Ever since Cheshire was 3 his mother said every morning "Good morning sunshine" and one day he asked. "Mom, why do you call me your sunshine my pelt is dark not light like the sun. His mother looked down and smiled. "But your soul is bright and you make me Happy all day" A few months after he turned 5 his mother was diagnosed with cancer. She latest in the hospital bed her body pink, from her being shaved. Only tufts of purple and violet fur showed itself. For two years She battled cancer getting weaker each day. Finally on December, 17 His mother passed and her last gift was that amethyst necklace.

Mintaka's most treasured item is a pair of baoding balls (Chinese balls which chime when spun around each other). If the situation is such that he does not want to have them out but still wants to carry them with him, he will keep them in a white pouch which he wears around his neck.

The reason:
The baoding balls were a gift to him when he was born, though it wasn't until he grew up some that he was permitted to play with them. For him, they are a reminder of his namesake - the double-star which makes up one of the points in Orion's Belt. The balls have taken on increased meaning for him as a representation of who he is that he can carry with him wherever he travels, and a physical memory of a time and place where he was loved and cared for, regardless of how difficult a situation he may be in at the time. They are his hope, his compass, and without them he would be lost.

The item that Alcestis would treasure until the end of her days is a little horse made of beads.

The reason:
With a body of pearlescent white beads, a mane and tail of intricately woven scarlet beads and berry-black eyes, the little horse appeals to Alcestis both in appearance and meaning. It is painstakingly made by Alcestis when she was only a young dragon, with the guidance of a young human girl who she had met on one of her morning walks through the woods she lives in. As one who treasures friendship, Alcestis still reminiscences about the hours spent on threading the beads carefully through a few extremely fine threads. What she most admires about the human girl is her patience - despite Alcestis' tantrums because of a few failed attempts, the girl remained calm and gentle.
