Well it's quite simple actually, he doesn't tend
to hide. Though it is relatively hard to find
where he lives if you're not very young. He
isn't elusive, really he lives in the forest.
Not a surprise for the gentle nature lover.
Either way, he lives down in the roots of a
tree. IF you look just carefully enough, you
still might not find it, but there's a hole you
might stumble upon. If you happen to make
it inside, after a bit of a slippery slope down
you'll find a peaceful mossy area, full of
little life and a small hollow, of which he
sleeps in. It's warm and cozy in there, if
you stumble upon the male there in his
welcoming hollow, he's be happy to spend
time or take a nap with a new friend.

Just in general, the first thing you'll notice
about him is that he is kind. He's ready to
give anything he has if it can help you, and
also loves to just be with his friends. And
he'll also want to spend as much time with
you as possible. And loves to spend casual
time, just to sit in nature in the quiet, warm
and safe without a care in the world. But he
truly has no visible flaws. Though inside, it's
easy to hurt him with mean words and abandonment.
But he never shows much confidence, he isn't timid
but he never acts too confident in himself. Though
he isn't known as a gentle giant plant lover for
nothing. He just wants to be friends with everybody
and never hurt anyone at all.

Why does he like having a big leaf
on his head? A simple question! Well since he really
loves nature, and what a better way to show it off
for one. But also, it makes a rather nice hat. Keeps
off the rain and it's comfortable. There wouldn't be
more explanation for that, as long as he like it
it wasn't going to go off.

There's many things that Totoro loves
about nature, he can't name a single one. But one
that he does really love is trees. Everything about them.
How they can make so many things, how they're so
big and strong, and sturdy. The passage ways, the
warm familiar feel to them. Everything about them,
they're absolutely perfect. Once you put your hand
upon the soft, yet rough wood. The fragrance and
feel couldn't help but for you to like it.

What doesn't! He loves to laugh
never to hurt somebody's feelings of course, that
would be downright cruel! But he loves to
do so. Making jokes is one of his favorite things
to do, making others smile warms his heart,
sometimes making him strangely, almost wanting
to cry. He himself though often finds
even the silliest jokes the most hilarious
things. And when people poke a bit of friendly
fun at him, he can't help but give a chuckle.

This lump has a rather simple
hobby, but since it makes him so happy, you
can't hate him for having it. But his hobby
is planting seeds. He'll plant them, and make
and watch them grow. It's such a happy thing
for him. Then coming back, and beaming
upon his work. Though he also loves
playing wooden interments as well. It's a
beautiful and peaceful sound.
