Chasing Dreams
You may call me Chase, or Chasing. Which ever you prefer. I do love Ceirals. Currently I own my custom, Neko. Who I love with all my heart. Neko would love a sort of /sister/ in my little Ceiral pack. I believe Annika would be the perfect lady for the "job".
Princess Annika
Or Annika for short. Annika was a name passed down from her grandmother, who's name was Anne. Annika gives pride to her name and legend. She carries with her the past generations, and so does it with grace.
Female
100%. Annika is a lady alright, from the tips of her antlers, to the tip of her tail. She carries her feminine pride around with her everywhere, making sure everyone knows that ladies aren't to be shoved around.
- Shy -Timid - Polite - Clumsy - Generous -
Due to Annika's miserable past, she has grown to be a shy, quiet young princess. Not the princess that her father raised her to be. Annika is timid, she likes to stay away from crowds. Lots of ceirals in one area just agitates her and causes her to feel sick. She can have a slight temper if put under these stressful situations. Her father is not one to let her get away with this, “This is not how a princess should act!” He would roar at her. Annika has learned to ignore her father's demands. But because of this, she never learned how to be a “proper” princess.
Annika is clumsy, though she tries to do good for her family, and town, her lack of education in the “leadership” category makes her more of a bothersome princess than a helpful one. Even though Annika is clumsy, shy, and skittish, she is very polite when it comes to talking with anyone. These manners she learned from her mother at a young age, before her mother was executed. Annika is even generous, she knows how it is out of the castle, and respects all the hardworking citizens enough to even sneak the poor some food once in a while.
I never thought my mother would be taken away from me. But when I figured out what she had done, something I heard my sire screaming about. Adultery was it? I knew she was destined to hell. How long had this been going on...? I never brought the topic up to my father, but he always brought it up.
“She belongs in hell, why am I keeping her alive any longer, just denying the inevitable, I suppose.” He'd turn to me, his eyes blazing red, his fur on edge. “Guards retrieve her from the dungeon.” Then they stomped away, to grab my mother like she was some prisoner. I guess that was her fate now.
“Tomorrow, the witch will bleed.” He laughed, while chugging down a bottle of ale. I was sickened by both of my parents at the time. One who didn't care about her family, the other who didn't have a heart.
There she was, standing in front of me in chains. Her eyes blackened and swollen from tears. Her ears hung low. “I'm sorry, Annika, will you ever forgive me?” She cried. My father raced over to her and grabbed her neck with his giant mitts.
“You should apologize to me, witch.” He growled. She closed her eyes, not caring anymore. I raced over to my father and kicked his ankles. He turned to me and swatted me away. “Guards take her away, leave me alone with this traitor.” I didn't want my mother to be left alone, what if he killed her? I screamed and cried, fighting the armored guards. It was stupid of me, but at least I tried. At least I had a heart.
The doors slammed shut, and I was carried to my room, it was locked from the outside so I was trapped in there. With nothing to do but cry. I lay on my bed, sobbing. Colors of light blue, maybe even clear poured out of my eyes. There was no stopping them, not even if I tried. “Father please!” I screamed over and over. Though in my head, I knew nothing would stop him. This was his revenge. This was what he always wanted to do. He was born to destroy.
I heard screams from the dining chamber down the hall, screams of my mother. I smelt blood, but what did I expect? I fainted on my bed. Not being able to handle what was going on. I had no control over anything, no one was going to stop my father, he was too powerful, he could kill anyone.
When I awoke from my blackout, I smelt fresh roses. No blood? Was it all a dream. I rushed to my door... and it was still locked. It was true. I burst out into tears again, slamming my frail body against the door, still my fresh brushes turned dark purple. A guard came to the door. One of the young guards that I had taken a liking to. He held the door open and I ran into him, grabbing my arms around his cold armor and embracing him in the biggest hug I could muster at that moment. He lifted up my head and kissed me on the cheek. I kissed him back and then ran off to the dining chamber. It was locked.
“Peter, open this please.” I called to the guard. He shook his head, “Kings orders, for this door to never be opened again, and for no one to ever enter this room, ever again.”
THE CROWN
"The crown, as my dad calls it. It belonged to my mother. So I do value it with all my heart. But other than that it is virtually meaningless to me, just a painless reminder of her. She was my idol, my everything. That day when she was taken away from me, my heart shattered. I have sworn to protect this crown with my life. Because of my mother, I still have the willpower to stay strong for my people. No one else."
