Staring... (warning - it is terrible DX)Personality: You'd think that at this age, he'd be less interested in running around and exploring, but Aran is all about adventuring. Whether he's climbing snow-capped mountains or delving into shadowy tunnels, he loves to explore and learn about the world around him. He knows he only has one life on this earth and he wants to see as much beauty and wonder as he can. He especially loves what you can see in the sky. Stars, meteors, shooting stars, northern lights, planets, galaxies, and so many more wonderful things to enjoy! Even the taken-for-granted clouds catch his beauty-seeking eyes.
He doesn't just look for beauty in the earth and the heavens, but in the life around him, too, such as animals. His favorites are the small furry ones, like rabbits and fawns. Birds, with their sweet natures and lovely songs, he also cares for. The "life" he loves includes plants, too. From tiny shrubs and delicate forget-me-nots to blossoming cherry trees and towering redwoods, he loves them all.
And, of course, he loves other equids. You may think, from what you know of him by now, that he's too busy gallivanting around to notice them at all, but he does, and he really does enjoy spending time with them. He isn't interested in settling down at the moment, but I'm sure that when some lovely mare catches his eye, he'll be all too happy to stay still for more than two seconds. He especially loves sharing his love of the world with others, showing them all the beauty in it.
So far, it may seem like Aran is very energetic and always running around. While that is true for the most part, he can be very calm, especially around little animals. He can, and does, stand still sometimes, whether to watch the clouds drift by or note the changing of seasons. Speaking of seasons, they are one of his favorite things. The vivid new life of spring, the joyous freedom of summer, the gentle colors of fall, and the crisp snowfalls of winter all enchant him with their unique beauties. They change everything, creating new wonders every year.
Now, no one is perfect, and Aran isn't an exception. There are
some things he doesn't like and sometimes he
can become upset. For example, spiders and scorpions he doesn't like too much, along with various insects. He appreciates their jobs (killing other bugs, for example), but he doesn't particularly enjoy their company. They make his skin shiver. And he
can get angry with other equids. It doesn't happen often (probably because he spends most of his time exploring), but it can. It's mostly when someone thinks (and voices their opinion in a nasty way) that he should stop 'wasting his time stargazing' and 'socialize with those that actually
matter.' As you can probably tell, everything matters to him, so this is not only infuriating but also insulting.
Aran's greatest dream is to be able to explore the beauty that he can't quite reach - the clouds, the stars, and beyond. He wants to see the stars up close, to chase the moon around the sun and then stroll through a garden of nebulae. He wants to watch ancient stars explode, to go where no equid has gone before, leaping from planet to planet in a wild search for the vast wonders of the world above the sky.
In short, Aran is a caring equid that loves and searches for everything beautiful. He wants to share the beauty of the world with others and to explore the wonders that we can only glimpse from far away.
*dies* SO GORGEOUS!!!
