You hear a scuffling and a person stands before you, short yet proud. You have come here to hear of the queen for you have heard legends from far away and you're interested to learn more. The stranger beckons you closer so you cautiously stride forward. Clearing your throat nervously you speak.'Who are you?'"Who am I? Well, I'm Apricotflyer, faithful server to the queen actually. I hear that you want to learn about this majestic beauty, everybody does. I'm glad you came to me, I've got all the information."
You nod, this is indeed true. You are glad to finally know this strangers name, it is important to know and remember. But what about the queen? In the stories she has been given too many names to count, but which is her real one?
'What is the queen's name?'"The queen? Her name is Riversong or Queen of the Rivers as many from afar call her. She holds the title of queen and carries it well, she is a great leader."
A great leader? It only makes your thirst for knowledge grow. What exactly is she like, the personality of a royal is important, they need to be good to their citizens.
'Could you give me an insight as to what she is like?'"Well, that would be giving away some of her privacy but if you don't use it against her then I will. Just promise not spread the bad stuff at least, the queen doesn't exactly want rumors spreading everywhere. Everyone has flaws, you should know that. So we'll start on one of the queen's flaws. She is vain you see, she likes to look neat and proper and is always fussing over herself. That's part of the reason why she likes rivers for when they lay flat you can see your reflection in them. Her refłection is like a second person to her which us why she talks to it. But I hate to speak badly of her, she really is kind. She has a strong heart and mind and has a special way with words. Whenever she speaks it's like a river flowing together. I guess you could compare her personality to a river, she's always had some weird connection with them. On good days she is calm and serene and her mood lights up the whole kingdom. But on other days she can be easily angered and she is extremely stubborn, when her anger takes hold it's like rushing rapids. Though most of the time she keeps it under control."
You smile, it's always nice to learn that even higher ranks likes royals have flaws. From the persons words the queen seems like a reasonable person. That was all you wanted to hear and you start to turn away. But then you stop and realise, what does she like and dislike? You did come here to gain knowledge on almost everything.Well, at least now you did.

Her likes and dislikes seemed acceptable so that satisfied you. But what about a story? The ones you had heard were legends and myths, you doubted that all of them were true. So trying to be brave you spoke again. It was a wonder Apricotflyer didn't get agitated at the questions you kept asking.
'Could you tell me a story about Riversong?'"Oh, of course! This story is one from her childhood, you probably haven't heard of this one before. It's never been told properly but I witnessed this event, so the facts should be accurate. I have a good memory you see. Anyway, the story.
It was a beautiful midsummer day and the sun hung in the sky. It was the afternoon and the queen, then a princess, was boiling from the heat. This was long before she had discovered the rivers, before her love for them became apparent.
