I would name this Equid Niobe because of the markings she displays on her body: her brindling reminds me of tears, as in tearing paper, but the brindling behind her eyes (the three stripes) remind me of real tears, as in crying. The Greek Niobe's life was teared up when she got her own children killed, and she was in tears when another God turned her into stone for her grief.
