Meaning and why you choose this name: Japanese for quiet or silent. I chose this name because I always think of japan or china when i think about Pandas. I find pandas quiet and very stealthy, well red pandas are quiet on their pads. And i am a huge fan of the name Kyoshi, i find it such a unique and Japanese name.

Last Christmas Eve, the household of a family of seven was surprised with one last, impromptu Christmas gift. Long after they had all fallen asleep, a strange noise sounded from the living room. The clamor woke the second youngest child in the family, a daughter. The little girl tiptoed down the stairs gingerly, peeking over the banister into the living room.The girl noticed a cloud of soot had been stirred up from the fireplace and was just beginning to settle. A gray lump covered in soot rested in the middle of the fireplace. The girl inched toward it with wide eyes. The lump gave a lurch and the girl let out a small squeak of alarm. She grasped the fire-poker and prodded the lump. It was soft, and the disturbance evoked a wisp of golden fire from the squishy gray heap. The girl leaned back and stared into the fireplace in awe. After a moment she set down the poker and reached in to lay her hand on the lump. It was breathing. Taking a deep breath, the girl brushed the ash off of the figure in the fireplace. A face poked up out of the pile of soot and stared up at her, unblinking. The girl stared back for a moment and then leaned over to look up the chimney shaft. "You came out of the chimney..." she murmured, still awestruck. Suddenly the creature from the fireplace leaped and bowled the girl over onto her back. At first the girl was alarmed, but as it covered her in a flurry of licks and nuzzles, she began to giggle. Once she eased the creature off of her and settled it down, the girl sat up, "You sure are a lively little thing," she said quietly. Then she stood and looked down at her new friend, who was gazing back up at her happily. She studied it thoughtfully for a moment. Then, "Come on, Chimney," she turned to go upstairs and beckoned him to follow, "you'll need somewhere to sleep."

I smile at the small poosha. I had heard something about that
name before. I began to ramble about the name meaning



In Greek mythology Pytho was the earth-dragon of Delphi, always represented in the vase-paintings and by sculptors as a serpent. Various myths represented Pytho as being either male or female (a drakaina). Python was the chthonic enemy of Apollo, who slew it and remade its former home his own oracle, the most famous in Greece.
There are various versions of Pytho's birth and death at the hands of Apollo. In the earliest, the Homeric Hymn to Apollo, little detail is given about Apollo's combat with the serpent or its parentage. The version related by Hyginus holds that when Zeus lay with the goddess Leto, and she was to deliver Artemis and Apollo, Hera sent Pytho to pursue her throughout the lands, so that she could not be delivered wherever the sun shone. Thus when the infant was grown he pursued the pytho, making his way straight for Mount Parnassus where the serpent dwelled, and chased it to the oracle of Gaia at Delphi, and dared to penetrate the sacred precinct and kill it with his arrows beside the rock cleft where the priestess sat on her tripod.



I have chosen this name because I feel it fits him and I wanted
a mythical Dragon God for his name so this was perfect. Choosing this name
was really hard I went through many names one of my favorites was Tenn
but I didn't want his name to be so plain I guess you can say so I have made it
his nickname. I think Pytho fits him quite well in my opinion and hopefully my
name has made you happy as well. <3

Personality;;

A leader hidden by a child

Pytho is fun, friendly, and makes great company to someone who'd rather listen than talk. He is an extrovert, bubbly and vivacious, always the life of the party. He makes friends easily and knows mostly everyone because of his social and outgoing personality.
In his childhood, he had it rough but has formed a new Pytho around that terrible past. Pytho can be needy though, a trait of his that is found extremely annoying. He needs attention and hates being left on his own. He can get very restless if he doesn't have someone to occupy his curious mind, so he spends almost every waking minute with one poosha or another, whether they like it or not.

Even though he seems childish he has a very different side too but tends to hide it. Pytho is a fearless leader. He stands tall, and radiates power and strength. His friends respect her. He is trust worthy and punishes none without good reason. Pytho can remain calm and collected no matter the situation, and never lets his feelings or thoughts control his actions. Before he does anything she analyzes the situation and thinks of a solution that best suits the current situation(s). He is rational and extremely intelligent. However, no poosha can be perfect, and his flaws are that sometimes when he lets people close to him he can become blind to their faults and let their wrong doings slide. He may be trust worthy, but he hesitates to trust. He always has, and probably always will, which can sometimes harm her ability to lead a group of pooshas he may or may not trust. Even with those flaws, he is a great leader in the eyes of others. He may seem hard on the outside or when she is directing others, but he is soft-hearted and extremely kind and gentle, especially around babies. Pytho can sometimes become more aggressive when protecting or defending a babies. However, that isn't exactly a trait most he would dislike. The male poosha tends to be easy to understand, however, he can be very good at hiding his true emotions. He is an easy poosha to get along with, however, you have to watch for his sarcastic tongue.

Backstory;;

It all started with young love between two Pooshas. There names were Apollo and Haven. Love was found all around them as they were deeply in love with each other. Apollo was a galaxy and Haven was the stars. Soon they decided to add a new member of their family, a baby. After Haven became pregent Apollo got deathly sick. Haven cried herself to sleep every night he was not by her side and Apollo cried without her by his side. The day of the birth Apollo said his last words to Haven,"Haven you are my stars my everything I love you and our baby Pytho I promise I will be there for you in the..." The last word faded. Haven broke down to the ground crying heavily. Soon she was took into a different room and had her baby boy, Pytho.

Taking Pytho home was hard for Haven. He was his father in a different body. His personality was the same his looks and colors were very similar. Haven slept next to her baby making sure he did not get hurt or sick. As he grew up Haven grew farther away from Pytho knowing she would have to leave him soon. She decided to tell him about his father before he left forever,"Pytho sit down and listen. Your father was a great poosh he was just like you and his name was Apollo he named you Pytho after a dragon god who was said to be born at the hand's of Apollo,"she cried. Pytho is just a teen but knows hurt. He kissed his mother and ran off forever. Memories of the nights of wired dreams with a Apollo flooded his mind but he just kept running.

Everyday Pytho rembered what his mom said about his father. He tought about what he would be like now mean or just like him. Pytho began watching his mother in the woods. She would always have tears rolling down her face and her eyes would be red as the forest berries. He wished to approach her, but knew he shouldn't because she would become more sad seeing memories of Apollo. He walked away with his head slumped over. He felt a tear roll down his face and shook it off. Memories came and went and he cried and stop. Pytho ran far away not knowing where he was heading.

He has seen not a soul of his family since this diaster. Dreaming of his mom at night leads to waking up with tears covering his face like a mask. That is why Pytho is so friendly to me. He feels I have something like him and I do. Pytho and I have the same personality and we both are serching for a friend to call a friend.
