His favorite time of day is around sunset. Everything is bathed in a red-orange light, making it seem as if the entire world is made of copper, brass and bronze and has turned into one great machine. Also, it's the perfect time to set up a candlelit breakfast and enjoy the atmosphere as the fading sunlight transitions to the soft glow of the candleflames. And with that experience to start off with, he can look forward to the rest of his day (or rather, night, since Ceirals are nocturnal. XD).

Congrats! The detail was fantastic and I don't know if this was intentional, but the name reminds me of Lewis from Meet the Robinsons (love that movie)

His favorite time is 2 AM-6 AM. This is the time when inspiration comes to him the easiest, with no disturbances and seemingly no worries. It's quiet, with the sounds of crickets and owls to the birds singing in the early morning. No one will bother him that late at night, and he likes to work by candlelight because it makes him feel like he's in a different time period, as the shadows are thrown against the wall in the dim luminescence of a burning wick embedded in dripping wax. Luis can think as much as he wants and let his imagination flow. Finally, he loves to go outside and watch the sunrise after a long night of work, and then sleep until noon.
