Okay, here goes...
I am writing a story sort of. It's called The Newest Ray of Sun. Here it is:

The wind rustled softly through the slightly crunchy leaves that had been the first to fall. All was peaceful. Then, a louder rustling alerted a small robin, who gave a shrill alarm call. Out slipped the sleek Koi Koi Inu, eyes bright and shining, and tail splashing gently with each step. She was an animal of incredible grace. Her small paws stepped silently upon the forest floor, not disturbing even a leaf. A splash sounded as a small koi jumped in her tail and landed back in the cool water with a satisfying sploosh. The Koi Koi Inu smiled slightly as she picked her way through the ferns, the cool fronds brushing her pelt but not leaving residue. It was one of the rare warm days in early fall, warm enough to enjoy a walk at daybreak. Daybreak was her favorite kind of day. This particular Koi Koi Inu was a young female with a kind personality and a sweet smile. Everyone knew her as Elise, though by her parents she was Eliserensé. She was fine with either, yet she most liked quiet walks in the forest with her koi. Anyhow, at that exact moment, Elise was enjoying the sun. Soon she would be in her shelter, wishing for long summer days in which berries would be plenty and thoughts of winter would cease. Now she was preparing herself for winter. Elise stumbled upon a small berry, and using her small teeth, plucked the fruit from the vine and ate it. Her mouth burst with flavor as the skin broke and the insides seeped upon her waiting tongue. Elise smiled and flicked her tongue over her mouth happily. Suddenly, a soft song began to reach her ears. Pricking them, Elise crept forward to a small clearing to see what it was about. To er surprise, three young Koi Koi Inu's sat in a small circle, singing. With each sweet verse the air felt slightly warmer and the sun seemed twice as bright. Before long the song had ended and one of the Koi Koi Inus looked up and spotted Elise. Her bright eyes looked her over in careful politeness, and a small smile blossomed on her maw. "Would you like to join our song?" she asked softly, cocking her head slightly to one side. Elise smiled. "I would love to." So, as that was, she settled herself in the circle and began to sing. "Deep in the forest, under the sun. Animals had wakened, no need to run. Berries and flowers were big blooms of color, and all of the Koi Koi Inus were si-ing-ing! Oh! Ho! What a marvelous summer! Who would have wondered how warm it could be! Flowers and animals are here by the dozens, and winter is far as far as far away could be." Before long Elise realized the other Koi Koi Inus had stopped singing and sat in awe, looking at her in respect and delight. Elise realized how warm she felt and looked down. At her paws, a single bright ray of sun shined on her paws, and inside the small circle of light, a small pile of summer berries lay, perfectly ripe and ready to eat.
