In the twinkling sky
Of a warm summer night
You might just catch glimpse
Of a Felis Draconis in flight

Blue eyes like sapphires
Dark fur like coal
Green stripes everywhere
They all seem to glow

Like the fireflies that dance
To the wind through the trees
This little guy glides
On the warm summer breeze

The smell of honeysuckle
So strong and so sweet,
Is what brought him out
So that he & I would meet.
