I would name him Seriak Chermes- haha, it's actually Belarusian for 'Sherlock Holmes' {with a phoenetic letter subbing}. However, his nickname {what he more commonly goes by} is Seki, not only short for Seriak but also a vaeiant of the Belarusian word for 'swirls'.

What he is based off of ;;

I see Sherlock Holmes in just about everything he is- violin on his side to smiley face on his wing, curly swirly designs on his forehead to the odd designs on his front paws, and even his mysterious, psychic purple jewel and his scarflike blue mane all allude to the fact that he resembles the famous detective.
Stugdying him a bit longer, I also did find the S and the H. <3

Named After One Of the Original Actors to Play Sherlock Holmes "Basil Rathbone", and Also named After Basil from "The Great Mouse Detective" - which is based off of Sherlock Holmes.

I would name this lovely boy Kai koto, or Kai for short. Kai koto is the Japanese term for Mystery. I think he's based off BBC's series Sherlock. I think this because, mainly the smiley face on his wing. Not to mention the elegant, but masculine designs. They are mostly colorless looking, but with a splash of color that is very entertaining to the eye. My last reason, is the violin of his hip. :3

I have decided that my name suggestion will be Hugo, after Hugo Baskerville from 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'.

I wanted a name loosely related to Sherlock Holmes, but one that was still original. I thought back through character names and Hugo crossed my mind. He may be a rather unpleasant character in the series, but I adore the name Hugo, and it comes from my personal favourite Holmes novel! :'U
