She often has head head lowered submissively, carefully and cautiously looking around especially when someone does approach her. However shy she is this doesn't mean that her heart doesn't ache for someone to talk to, someone to stay.

She just doesn't know how to handle others, especially stallions and as a result she comes off being weird. Sometimes even stuck up because she can't find the words to speak or her mind is reeling to find the words. She becomes very nervous and often prances in place or moves back without really realizing it. She's a very lonely mare, who on the inside feels very cold and alone.

Personality: I feel like I can't explain his personality without explaining the meaning of his name first, so here it goes. When I first saw him, I was torn. I want my first dam to be exceedingly special to me, and I didn't want me to neglect my dam in any way, shape, or form. So I was a bit in limbo, trying to decide if I should try out for him or not. Then I realized he reminded me of sand and sun and clear blue water - just like my birth country. From that moment on, I was hooked. I couldn't not try out for the beautiful, beautiful boy. So now on to his personality.

Shoregrass is a bit of a conundrum. Like all wild things, he harbors a burning deep in his soul, one that cannot be tamed or dimmed by crashing waves or rolls of thunder. He is all these things and more personified, a living tempest of emotions and sounds and colors. He is the light and yet the dark, the dawn and the day. He is soft and quiet, yet as loud and raging as the desert storm. He is a being full of light and warmth, and he would have it no other way.
