-I don't see any other name that fits her than "Pelican".

-Female, of course. Being a male just doesn't seem to suit this little Shao.
personality;;
-The world could not provide better entertainment for Pelican. She enjoys to explore and discover new things, like her cousin Sailor, and is almost always by his side. Pelican is quite smart, too (knowing alot about birds or anything having to do with them) but due to her disability, autism, she has social issues.
Some Shaos find her annoying for this, although they know she can't help it. Pelican has trouble with waiting for someone elses' conversation to be over before she can start talking, so, she interrupts alot. She also cant help but get into everyones' business just like Sailor. That's another personality downside.
Even though her social issues cause her to not have many friends, Pelican is one of the sweetest Shaos around if you get to know her. She is loyal, fun to be around, and will never turn her back on you.

- Pelican trotted after her cousin Sailor, her small wings flapping happily. "Hey...hey Sailor! Can we go on an adventure? Maybe bird watching? Waddaya think?!" she chirped, looking up at the older Shao. Sailor smiled, looking back at her with lemony yellow eyes. "Sure," he replied, setting his paw gently on her shoulder, "but we have to get back by nightfall." Pelican giggled, shaking Sailor off. She flapped her wings rapidly, taking flight. The little Shao hovered over Sailor as they made their way to a boat....their boat.
Pelican watched as Sailor started up the boat. She folded her wings, looking over the edge of the boat as they pulled out from the docks. "Look! Look at the seagulls! And oh, there's a pelican!" Pelican pointed up at the sea birds that were flying above with a small paw.
The young Shao enjoyed spending time with her cousin. She felt like he was much closer; like a brother to her. She couldn't ask for anything more than exploring and just being with Sailor.
