The night sky shined on little Bri while she hopped outside.
Her dad had told her that the fireflies were out again,
and he was right. Briller gazed wide - eyed at the glowing
creatures against the dark night skyin awe.
How did they do that? She thought quietly inside her
head. She sat in the grass looking at them with her mouth
wide open. Then the unexpected happened, a firefly zoomed
into her mouth thinking of it as a littlehideout.
Her face turned bright red as she held her breath then she
spit the firefly out looking to make sure it was in her hand
safely. There in Bri's hand lay a small, bright bug. It was
frail but healthy at the same time. Briller raised her hand in
the air and let the firefly come out, and it did so with the
utmost delicacy as possible.
