Muroku is exactly like the character you would associate his namesake with. He is kind, caring, giving, willing to do anything for a damsel in distress. He likes the opposite gender all a little too much, risking his life left and right to earn their trust if it means getting something out of it in the future. He is blunt and straight to the point. He wants his legacy to carry on and that means future offspring. I wouldn't say he's not shy of being a pervert; he probably is one. But at least he's honest about it and respects both genders equally if not females more.
