Yaylo's, or as everyone likes to call him, Yay, favorite activity is splashing through a body of water. Since he is so tiny, he's had to be rescued more than once, but loves it all the same.
Yay seems to take after the animal that his coat is modeled after- a beagle. He can be loud and obnoxious, and follows you around like, well, a puppy. He tends to become clingy, once someone is nice to him or he takes a liking to them, acts like their best friend until they gently explain that they aren't his friend. This doesn't seem to bother him too much, as he shakes it off like most youngsters do. Whenever he swims, or just looks at water, he seems to just bathe in the serenity that comes with looking at something like that. He first learned to swim from his mother, who went into the water to retrieve a toy that they were playing with together. She hasn't been able to draw him out of the water since.
But swiming does have its drawbacks. He seems to be wet all the time, and seldom seen without a piece of driftwood in his mouth or seaweed on his forehead. It drives those germaphobes out there crazy, yet doesn't seem to bother him, even with all the weird looks that he receives. Even with the fishy smell and unkempt fur, he makes the best of it. He is strong for his age, and has a very well-developed character that seems to draw other kias to him, even if he scares them a little.
Swimming has been his escape from reality, with him doing it his whole life. It is like a second parent to him, nothing but the water under his paws, lighter than air.

Favorite hobby: Digging. Oscar absolutely loves digging. He will get himself so covered in mud, that it's rather hard to recognize the little rascal... Though he hates baths, this doesn't deter him one bit from getting covered head to toe in the stuff. Our backyard looks a little like a construction site, since he won't let us fill in any of the holes. Splash, my other Kiamara, doesn't mind the dirt, but if he gets it in her room? He'd better hide! Not to worry though - he's really bad at hiding. He thinks that if he digs a hole and puts his head in it, no one can see him.

Favorite hobby: Harri loves to sing! Well, not exactly "sing", but to howl! Beagles were bred to hunt/track down animals/prey, and when they manage to catch something, they howl (or bay) very, very loudly. His voice isn't the greatest and he knows it, but it's still fun for him to howl to his heart's content, especially when he's having a bad day. Harri is just quite loud in general, even if he's speaking normally. If he's excited, sad, surprised, or even just bored, he'll let out a loud cry, no matter where he is.

Pepsi absolutely adores Origami. She struggles to use her paws to fold the paper but has trained herself to use her mouth as well to hold the paper so she can fold it into many different animals. She is pretty much an origami master and can make anything with paper. Her entire room is full of paper animals and shapes which she has folded. It is stacked to the ceiling with unique creations in all different colours and carefully handcrafted.

I like it. Beagles are a quirky breed, and to be honest I find that the name 'Oswald' has a quirky feel to it, so it seems rather fitting.

Or as his friends might call it, 'hoarding'. Oswald loves to hunt out special items only to then hoard them in his special hiding place. He's very particular about what he does want for his 'collection' and what he doesn't, with each item being rather unique in it's own right. Things like shiny trinkets, pretty stones, plushie toys and socks are the amongst most valued and therefore most plentiful in his stash.
Obsessively Oswald will devote many hours of his time searching high and low for more things to add and even longer still counting and recording what he still has in his possession... and of course if he discovers anything to be gone (i.e. a reclaimed sock) he'll do everything in his power to get it back. He's not always successful and quite often the loss of even the smallest trinket is enough to make himself feel rotten for days afterwards - until he seizes something else! Keep this one rule in mind when you're around this thieving Kia: never leave anything valuable lying around!

Kianna loves chalk. Like, simple sidewalk chalk. She loves going out and doing whatever she wants on a huge canvas, and then doing it all over again once it rains. It is her never-ending canvas that everyone can see, something that everyone can admire. She loves the many colors, the vivid greens and the dark blues, she loves how they will tint her paws and muzzle if she steps on them. She can not only color on the ground, but can express her personality through temporary colors on herself. Kianna loves the smell and the sound of the chalk, and how she can create anything she sets her mind to.
