Who did I get my first cottonwood horse from? I don't have any cottenwood horses..
Name one of my characters not affiliated with cottonwood (can't be the ones in my signature): sam
Story/Art: Kick used to live in the wild safari but he and his herd were captured by poachers. Most of Kicks herd didn't make it, but they decided to let him go. Kick tried to get help but it was useless. he tried and tried to get into other herds but no one wanted him because they thought he would attract the poachers to take their herd. He lived alone for some years until he noticed a green and tan truck came into the middle of the grassy plains. There were 2 women and 3 men who had ropes and nets. Kick didn't dare to move, he just watched. They crept towards Kick and snatched him up. next thing he knew, he was in the back of the truck! Kick wasn't understanding that he was going to be brought to a stable, but instead he thought they were poachers! Once kick was let out of the truck into the fenced area, he started to run away. He turned back the secod he saw fresh water. Then he knew he was at the right place.. Cottenwood Stables!

Story/Art:

Immi pranced on the end of his lead line, his stubby tail flicking in the wind. He flared his nostrils, smelling the unique scent of other equines. Straining towards a large paddock, his owner barely restrained him.The gate swung open, and he trotted happily inside. The gate slammed shut behind him, setting him into a frenzy. He cantered around and around, stirring up the other horses.

Once he tired, he slowed to a standstill, breathing heavily. His bright eyes gazed at the milling animals, not much unlike him. The animals did not look like each other, but still seemed friendly. He took nervous halting steps towards the large herd, afraid of their reaction. He brayed loudly, then started in surprise as the other animals answered him. He wandered through them, brushing gently against them. He stopped to doze in the warm sun. In a few minutes several mares had settled next to him. He whiffed gently, flicking away flies.

A few days later, he had learned the names of several the "horses" as he learned they were called. Morning and Chill were two of those mares. They welcomed him into the herd and treated him as one of their own. He soon forgot that he was any different and fell into the rhythm of the herd.

He's so gorgeous! I wuv him! (Seren had a great idea with the Zorses)
